Would be nice to have some official source for the info in this article, especially as regards how constituencies are grouped into regions. I am not finding the official Assembly website much use in this respect. Laurel Bush 14:45, 17 November 2006 (UTC).[reply]

It would be good if someone could make/included maps of both the old constituencies and regions (pre 2007), this would provide a more complete history and should be continued after new constituencies are formed as part of Senedd reform LandmarkFilly54 (talk) 09:41, 22 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@LandmarkFilly54, Hi, I've so far made the 2001 boundaries as maps shown below. Do you want the current boundaries and the 2001 ones as one file? Either as the existing main image on this page side by side? Or overlapping like the upcoming Westminster changes from 2024. Or you can add both of them below using the {{multiple image}} template.

@LandmarkFilly54, no problem. Although tbh I think I messed up my comment above, asking whether there should be a file with the 2001 constituencies and electoral regions together or a file with the current and 2001 boundaries together.

I think you mean the former? (2001 constituencies and 2001 electoral regions) So created the below, based on the existing one:
