Shashi Kapoor Filmography

Shashi Kapoor has acted in 170 films all together.He is a highly respected actor. So there is definitely the need for separate filmography page.In the biography only the link to the filmography page needs to be given in the section ACTOR.This would help in putting quality information regading Shashi Kapoor in his biography and would reduce the length as well save space in wiki artcile about him. Errors in the present article

Hi,

I have noticed too many errors in the wiki artcile on Shahsi - either the sentence is incomplete or wrong information is being spread. Please edit them yourself. Laying down them below

Reason for this line appearing was to say how he was struggled to make a name for himself from 1961 to 1965. Till these 2 hindi films happened Shahsi Kapoor did not attain fame or audience did not know him till these 2 films happened

Between 1974 and 1977, Kapoor's solo lead films were less commercially successful, which led to him accepting multi star cast films in the period 1976–85. If the words - solo lead hero films from 1974 to 1977 were not successful are removed - does the sentence makes sense? Cuurrently it says Between 1974 and 1977, Kapoor's solo lead films led to him accepting multi star cast films in the period 1976–85 - no one can arrive at any logical meaning by reading this.

  • //indiatoday.intoday.in/gallery/leading-ladies-of-shashi-kapoor/4/8272.html - says directly - Bandhan Kuchchey Dhaagon Ka (1983), Bandh Honth (1984) and Doosara Aadmi (1977) flopped at the BO.
  • Another incomplete senetnce in wikipedia artcile - Films where Kapoor acted opposite actresses such as Hema Malini, Parveen Babi, and Moushumi Chatterjee. -- there is no sense to this line.What needs to be mentioned is that these films where he acted with Hema, Parveen and Moushmi were also well known.
  • Another mistake i noticed - http://cineplot.com/shashi-kapoor-memories/ - it says clearly Abhinetri was not successful and also mentions Prem Patra was unsuccessful. Note this is interview of Shahsi Kpaoor directly.

Had removed the errors myself and incorporated certain lines - but they were removed only by you saying unsourced and personal opinion. I had given logical meaning to incomplete sentences and also provided references.Mikepegan (talk) 06:51, 30 August 2013 (UTC)okay . what i have done now is I have rectified the 11 errors i showed you in talk page of shashi kapoor. I've done some language fixes to try to rectify the problems with sentence fragments. Terms such as "disaster" and "mega-failure" are, as pointed out on your talk page, not appropriate in a Wikipedia article. Please note that information must be sourced, and even if, e.g., a writer in a newspaper refers to a film as a "disaster" it does not mean that it is, in any objective sense, a disaster - it is an opinion, and Wikipedia cannot present such an opinion as a fact. And that every single film in the running text is not classified as successful or unsuccessful is not an error. Adding all those details makes the text hard to read and unencyclopedic; this also applies to adding overly detailed statistics about an actor's different films ("x films as solo lead, y films as multi-starrer lead, z films as a minor character, n films as the older version of another hero's character....").
