The population in this series are shown as canine, but not once in the entire series (in the English dub anyway) is it stated that Sherlock is a fox and Moriarty is a wolf (even Sherlock proves this in dialogue with Wattson, "Moriarty certainly has never been one to let sleeping dogs lie.") I noticed that there was a brief period where Celebrity Home Entertainment released a dubbed version of this anime for their "Just for Kids" line of videotapes. This is most likely where the title comes from. Can anyone look more into this?
