"Pro-China" political alignment?

What does that actually mean? Is it a reference to cross-straits relations? Or that in general the newspaper is sympathetic to Chinese culture and people, without a strong view on Taiwan? TheGrappler (talk) 22:07, 24 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

it means pro-PRC/pro-red China or anti-democracy or pro-centralization of power or some sort, it is a loose term to me. Matthew_hk tc 16:36, 2 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Owner

A document shown Sing Tao Holdings sold 50% stake of Sing Tao Newspapers (Canada 1988) Limited and 75% stake of Canada-incorporated "Sing Tao Daily Limited" in 1998, so the current company based in Hong Kong, was actually minority owner or a partner of the joint venture. Just need more information on the purpose of the companies. Matthew_hk tc 16:36, 2 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
