Halstead solo project
"The band had almost become a Halstead solo project by the recording of their final album, Pygmalion."
This is an odd statement to make, bearing in mind that Halstead wrote about 95% of all released Slowdive material. 'Just For A Day' was all Halstead. 'Souvlaki' was all Halstead bar 'Space Station' and the Eno tracks.
It may be better to state that Saville and Chaplin weren't particularly interested in the new musical style. Rachel Goswell certainly states this was the case at Slowdive site 84.12.47.154 12:03, 29 October 2007 (UTC)
Discography Reissue section
I recommend a discrography section for Slowdive reissue albums.
I think these reissue albums are worth mention because the re-issue albums usually have bonus tracks or an entire additional disc (as with
They are not simply an additional printing.
Having said that, I don't feel like working to do this right now. Adding to Wikipedia is time-consuming!

"re-issue" or "reissue" or "ReIssue" ???
Can anyone find guidelines on the correct word?
If you can find it, please post it here.

Proposed merge with Christian Savill
Christian Savill does not appear to meet notability guidelines for a musician on his own, I recommend merging that article into the band's. Ifnord (talk) 00:47, 28 January 2018 (UTC)
- I disagree with this. After Halstead, Savill is the most prolific Slowdive member, having released six albums with Monster Movie, not to mention his pre-Slowdive band Eternal. His signature guitar sound is one of the ingredients that makes Slowdive's sound unique. Dsanchez(talk) 23:21, 27 February 2018 (UTC)
Do not merge the pages. Savill has other bands. 97.125.104.248 (talk) 18:01, 2 March 2018 (UTC) BJensen
