This article has some good content, but is very biased to how socioeconomic factors negatively affect the environment. There is pretty much no writing about how socioeconomics have a positive influence on the environment, which they do in many ways. This article needs to be expanded greatly. It is one-dimensional in the information that it provides. The article is titled “Socioeconomics” which implies that it is about the term and/or the field of socioeconomics in general, but actually has content that is much more specific, and somewhat unrelated at times, to socioeconomics as a whole. This article could also benefit from many more sources being added. Some of the writing seems to be original content from the posters, which is not allowed. Please can we have something about the "Managerial Merry-Go-Round", where people of proven incompetence are hired simply because they have experience within a managerial position/social position. High managerial bonuses (remuneration) are often justified with phrases such as "brightest and best". A 2019 BBC documentary by Amol Rajan entitled, "How to Break into the Elite" provides evidence that employers reject a vast majority of highly qualified candidates purely on the grounds of a lack of "polish" and thusly kick away the ladder from people of certain backgrounds, ensuring a maintenance of class division, but at the same time inadvertently refuting the notion of the "brightest and best" being employed in top jobs. This proof means that the justification for high bonuses is also refuted. I'd like to see something on the wiki regarding this but I don't know where it should go... somewhere in CLASS and SOCIO-ECONOMICS, probably. 79.74.253.185 (talk) 13:27, 25 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

People are being judged on the basis of their caste , race ,colors and based on these they are unemployed . Being unemployed just because of of these senseless factors is completely rubbish ....people should be treated on the bases of their talent not on these fake factors ... everyone has taken , only thing to do is to show them a right path ❣️ people are thrown out of jobs , around 5lakh people loose their jobs because they belong to lower cast. this article looks honestly like garbage, and I sense perhaps a little plagiarism (look at the "conclusion" header. Is that encyclopedic?) in the environmental part. I don't really want to rewrite this because I don't have enough contributions to be credible but if someone wants to try to make sense of this... or flag it for revision... Svedish Meatballs!
