Piecemeal Editing
There seem to be a lot of instances of very minor and piecemeal editing on this page, mostly around the paragraphs covering Poliakoff's return to television. Perhaps a bit of discussion here is needed, as at the moment it seems that the page is being changed every other day to very little effect. I think we could also do with some expansion of the plots of the individual productions that don't already have their own pages. The lack of virtually any detail of his stage work is also rather glaring. Nick Cooper 09:27, 13 September 2006 (UTC)
"Poliakoff" automatically redirects here - it would be nice to make a disambiguation page that lists the unrelated Serge Poliakoff as well —Preceding unsigned comment added by 85.66.124.179 (talk) 17:18, August 25, 2007 (UTC)

Unsourced Assertions
Opening paragraph "widely judged amongst Britain's foremost television dramatists." by whom?
See also:-
"His directorial debut was the much-lauded...Hidden City (1988),"
and
"He subsequently returned to his favoured form, television,"
What is the basis for these statements? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.136.122.157 (talk) 12:47, 12 October 2011 (UTC)
It appears that he wrote a play for TV called "A Real Summer", but it is not listed. I remember watching it - Ruth Wilson played a double role. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.0.217.104 (talk) 17:51, 19 May 2013 (UTC)

British Council Profile Expantion
I recently found a profile of him on the website of the British Council. From it I added the awards section, but I believe it might help us expand the article. I will be doing so, but here it is if any of you want to help me with it.Jtrrs0 (talk) 18:20, 23 May 2016 (UTC)
Critics
"Poliakoff's theatre, although well received critically has never achieved a great level of attention from the critics, apart from their reviews." Is it just me or does this make no sense? CulturalSnow (talk) 08:52, 20 September 2016 (UTC)
- Seems to have been added in this edit. As the reference is paywalled, it's nto possible to readily check what is actually meant by the statement. Nick Cooper (talk) 12:04, 20 September 2016 (UTC)
