Just F.Y.I. - Supermac's isn't the largest Fast Food franchise in Ireland. According to their website, it's the largest indigenous fast food group, and they claim to have 50 outlets throughout Ireland.
McDonalds, on their website, claim to have 60 restaurants throughout Ireland. — Preceding unsigned comment added by AndrewH (talk • contribs) 16:19, 26 October 2004 (UTC)
Quote: "Supermac's receives a lot of bad press in Ireland - due to its roots in the Galway and Mayo areas ..." Does it? I've never seen any such culchie-bashing material, though I admit I don't live in Dublin 4. I've removed the sentence, due to lack of evidence. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.71.109.194 (talk • contribs) 20:23, 6 August 2005 (UTC)
The food
I removed following from food section. I assume it's tongue-in-cheek.
- Also unafraid to try new things Supermacs have also pioneered such delicasies as the "curry & cheese chips" and the "garlic & cheese chips". The aforementioned foods are possibly the most effective "drunken hunger" suppressants known to mankind. --A bit iffy 13:53, 1 November 2005 (UTC)
- Its entirely untrue anyway, Abrakebabra has far more effective reverse-soakage food in its range than Smacks has... --Kiand 20:28, 26 November 2005 (UTC)
