Taos News is a weekly newspaper published in Taos, New Mexico by the private company Taos News, which also does business as El Crepusculo, Inc., the name of the first newspaper published by Padre Martinez. The company is classified under newspaper publishing and printing manufacturers. It is estimated to have annual revenues of $3 million and employ between 15 and 25 staff members.[1] As of September 1, 2021, the paper's publisher is Chris Baker, the editor is John Miller, and is owned by Robin McKinney Martin, who also owns The Santa Fe New Mexican.[2]

In 2013, Taos News won first place in the Local Media Association 2013 Newspaper of the Year contest in the non-daily, under 10,000 circulation class.[1]

Taos News has also received awards from the New Mexico Press Association, having been awarded the "General Excellence" award for weekly newspapers with a circulation above 5,000 from the New Mexico Press Association in 2009,[2] 2010,[3] 2013,[4] 2014,[5] 2015,[6] 2016,[7] 2017,[8] 2018,[9] 2019,[10] 2020,[11] and 2021.[12]
