I propose that this page be merged with the Texas Bowl page, because in reality the Texas Bowl is a continuation of the former Houston Bowl. The stats for all the previous Houston Bowls are listed on the Texas Bowl page as well, so there really is no need for this page to exist as it is. --172.165.67.117 05:16, 4 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Based on my sources, I feel that the Houston Bowl and the Texas Bowl have no official link. Sources tell me that the Houston Bowl ended, and from it's ashes rose the Texas Bowl, meaning they are linked only because they are in the same city.

Split The Texas Bowl and Houston Bowl are two separate bowls. The Houston Bowl went out of business, and this new bowl, while in the same stadium, is under different management and has no lineage. Milchama 12:50, 21 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
