It says that the Andantes performed on 10,000 Motown recordings. This number seems too high...anyone have evidence to back it up?

You think 10,000 is high... right now it says one MILLION! I guess they never slept! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.4.23.217 (talk) 22:33, 5 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The members of the group were, and are, dear friends of mine. I had the honor of being in studios during many recording sessions. There were other recordings on which the group provided vocals; ie. Stevie Wonder (Signed Sealed and Delivered), Marvin Gaye (What's Goin On), Kim Weston (Don't Stop Now), Liz Lantz (Keep Me), as well as many others not cited in the article. Refer to Motown From The Background. Although I have asked on a couple of occasions that the group be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, I have never gotten a response. Others have also submitted requests without response. The group has however been inducted to the Rhythm and Blues Hall of Fame. Considering the prolific volume of the group's recordings for Motown and others and the impact of the music on american culture it is befitting that the group be recognized in the larger Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.53.104.29 (talk) 21:27, 29 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
