Queerboys
This was a joking name they used for some period before they changed it to the less controvercial Quireboys for purposes of appealing to a wider audience. - Cult Fan (talk) 09:18, 25 November 2007 (UTC)

How to move forward with this article?
I'd like to reach a consensus with fellow Wikipedia editors about how to proceed with this article. In March 2022, the band split in two after lead vocalist Spike was reportedly "fired" from the group. He's now reunited with fellow original members Guy Bailey and Neil Mogg and they're preparing to announce their first concert on 5 September 2022.
Remaining Quireboys members (Guy Griffin/Paul Guerin/Keith Weir/Nick Mailing/Pip Mailing) are continuing to tour without Spike, they've announced a new album without his involvement, and they're insisting that Spike has no legal claim to the Quireboys name and can't (or shouldn't) be using it.
So we now have two entirely separate bands who both claim to be the "real" Quireboys. Obviously Wikipedia needs to take a neutral stance on this, but how should the band be referred to going forwards? Quireboys 1 and Quireboys 2? Should the article solely focus on the "remaining Quireboys" and Spike's future projects be written about solely on his own Wikipedia article?
My feeling is that the article should continue to report on the activities of both bands until their legal disputes are resolved. Any thoughts welcome.
It's also worth noting that this article has been edited by members and allies of both sides, and a discussion has been opened on the Conflict of Interest Noticeboard due to perceived legal threats. Skyrack95 (talk) 17:33, 26 August 2022 (UTC)
"Cozy" or "Coze"
Nick Connell is described as "known as Cozy" in the Formation section, and in the Former Members section in the main article, but listed as "Coze" in the Past members part of the infobox.
Which is it? Or is it both, which should then be mentioned? 155.190.60.34 (talk) 22:36, 11 March 2024 (UTC)
