Merger from First school
I
first schools to here, since the information on it (once I'd reverted an unexplained page-blank, and some random promotional stuff) mostly duplicated what was here; also, usage of the term seems to be largely confined to discussion of the three-tier system. At the moment the substantive article content is in its own section here, though I intend to merge that all into the body of the article—unless it turns out that sources allow enough discussion of the three different types of school involved in the system. Unfortunately I need to sleep now, but this explains the {{under construction}} tag. YorkshireLad ✿ (talk) 22:40, 5 June 2020 (UTC)

- Finished major edit. There's now a "terminology" section. I don't think there's any need for the article on first schools to be reinstated: it was mostly a discussion of the three-tier system, so all that could really go there that wouldn't entirely duplicate here is a definition.
