Smokerise

What about Smokerise Elementary? I know that it feeds in to Tucker Middle and high school. Should this school be incorporated into the article too? 20:25, 05 Feb 2011. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.88.197.225 (talk)

Would it be okay to link TYSA through Tucker?-DeineMutter 21:28, 27 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Tucker Rec Center

Changed 'Tucker Community Center in the 1970's' to 'Tucker Recreation Center (Formerly Tucker Elementary) in the late 1980's.' Tucker Elementary was still in operation during the 70's. Also corrected the distant to downtown Atlanta. It's 15 miles, not 20. 16.6 to drive. Matthewrlee. 09/29/06 2:13 pm

Right road name?

"Pleasantdale and Lavista Road"? I can only assume that "Pleasantdale" refers to Chamblee-Tucker road. (see map). Is this is a mistake, or was the road actually called Pleasantdale at that time? --Jeff robertson 11:37, 20 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Tucker is so much more

Tucker is so much more than a "census-designated place." This page needs work Matthew R. Lee 20:43, 9 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The schools need to be included, for example Tucker high School and Tucker Middle and other elementary schools. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.219.76.118 (talk) 03:10, 23 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

disambiguation pages

A heading appears at the top of the page saying:

"This article currently links to a large number of disambiguation pages (or back to itself) (check | fix). Please help direct these ambiguous links to articles dealing with the specific meaning intended. Read the FAQ. (February 2014)"

The option to check says "No disambiguation links on Tucker, Georgia." What can be done to resolve this message? Thank you. Matthew R. Lee (talk) 20:58, 7 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Is this an issue of improper use of piped links causing the Bot to flag the article? Matthew R. Lee (talk) 21:03, 7 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

  • The answer is to check each link, individually, and make corrections where required. Done. Problem solved. Tag removed.Gulbenk (talk) 03:02, 8 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Please fix your links. Links that promise journalistic content go to the Tucker 2014 page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 50.160.152.110 (talk) 02:23, 20 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

What, pray tell, us "White American"? I do not believe it is a term I've seen in any Census Bureau material, including this: http://quickfacts.census.gov/qfd/states/13000.html Did you make it up? And if so, for what reason? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 50.160.152.110 (talk) 01:48, 24 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

50.160.152.110 - glad you’re interested in the Tucker, Georgia article.
I’m not sure I understand what you mean by, “Links that promise journalistic content go to the Tucker 2014 page.” Where did you see this promise? Out of 76 references, the article sites the Tucker 2014 website twice. It also sites both the Lakeside City Alliance and The City of Briarcliff Initiative websites twice. In each case, the links reference each group’s map and reasons for organizing. It seems pertinent to the current issues surrounding incorporation to include references to all three groups.
No, I did not make up
talk
page. If it concerns you, if you think it’s a misrepresentation or confusing, you’re welcome to change it to just White.

Central Michigan University?

Why is Central Michigan University (a public university based in Michigan) listed in the colleges for a Georgia town? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Donavannj (talkcontribs) 20:55, 17 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Transition article from CDP to City

This article is for the Tucker Census-designated place (CDP), however most of the CDP is now in the City of Tucker. This article should be changed to a city article. I am not certain how to initiate that transition. Thoughts? Matthew R. Lee (talk) 04:57, 1 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Not a nationally recognized company?

I purchased a B&G Novelties (Tucker, GA) product from a restroom dispenser in Newport, Oregon not 2 weeks ago. How is it that a company that provides novelties coast to coast is not considered "nationally recognized"? HollJ84 (talk) 10:07, 17 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
