this article needs work, and more history, it is pathetic at this point

Please feel free to contribute. --malber 14:47, 6 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

The UDE website is now http://entertainment.upperdeck.com But ude.com still works. Filmore 19:53, 9 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

2005 NBA Exquisite series

Something more descriptive about this series would be appreciated. --malber 19:24, 4 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed merger of 2004 Upper Deck NBA Exquisite Basketball

I think incorporating this material in to the article is a great idea. I've been meaning to create sub-sections in this article on the different divisions of Upper Deck. However,

extreme makeover before it becomes a part of this article. --malber 13:58, 28 December 2005 (UTC)[reply

Definitely merge it. Dannycas 20:57, 5 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed. --PS2pcGAMER (talk) 11:32, 21 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

TMNT TCG

Should a mention be made of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Trading Card Game? The S

UDE has has made a lot of card games before and since YGO and VS. If we ever get down to sections for different Upper Deck divisions, it would be good to list all of them. --malber 19:48, 9 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Perhaps a seperate, "Trading Card Games by Upper Deck" topic is in order? In that respect, we can get down into more detail with the games without taking up too much space in the general Upper Deck article (saving room for more on Upper Deck's history, and their alma matter, sports cards) The S

Game worn

Anyone know what's going on with the whole "Game worn vs. Game Used" section? I just opened a pack of 2008 baseball cards with a bit of fabric in it, and it pretty clearly says "Game Worn Jersey" on the front. Maybe the basketball ones are different? This article/section needs additional citations for verification. (April 2009)

Provided additional citations in the marked section, and removed the tags. Will continue to find additional sources, but most, if not all, of the material in the marked section is sourced (w/ ICV2, NY Times & NY Post). If additional sources are needed elsewhere, please specify here on the talk page so we can work together on the sources.Akerans (talk) 04:14, 20 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Criticism section?

This company in particular has received considerable criticism over the years for promoting cards as an investment rather than a children's collectible, a decision that fueled the ultimate decline of the industry. (Here's an example: http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/vault/article/magazine/MAG1159241/index.htm)

There should probably be some mention of this. 12.239.145.114 (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 14:16, 4 May 2012 (UTC).[reply]
