"Venezuelan"?

The article's lead section states:

"Venesat-1, also known as Simón Bolívar, is the first Venezuelan satellite."

Excuse me, how can a satellite designed by Chinese, built by Chinese, launched by Chinese on top of a Chinese rocket booster, controlled by Chinese, and operated by Chinese can be labeled as a "Venezuelan" satellite? The only thing that is really Venezuelan about that contraption are the funds, which come from oil exports. --AVM (talk) 18:18, 17 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
