POV issues
The statement that "the massacre ... quelled the violence" is a contradiction in terms. The massacre itself was violence, intended to put an end to the poorly-armed black resistance. The Afro-Cubans attacked the Marines only once, at El Cuero, but were repulsed without casualties to either side (Clark).Fconaway (talk) 06:43, 20 March 2014 (UTC)
