This should be about purges. "Repression" is too broad and other sidebars already exist on the Holodomor and population transfers. We need to specialize this page to be about purges. Thoughts? Mangokeylime (talk) 16:08, 8 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

First of all, how do understand the term "purge"? I was suspicious of your version of the template, because it included
USSR anti-religious campaign (1970s–87) - the same question. - üser:Altenmann >t 01:45, 9 April 2016 (UTC)[reply

as for {{Holodomor}}, IMO whoever created it doe not quite understand the purpose and construction of navigation templates in wikipedia. - üser:Altenmann >t 01:45, 9 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I suppose you are correct in saying that the term "purge" can be used just as broadly as the term "repression". I just used the term to indicate other mass repressions that do not include population transfers or the Holodomor. The
Execution of the Romanov family was included because it was part of the Red Terror. Well we should still expand the repression sidebar whether or not its called purges. It is too small considering the vast content on wikipedia, and because of its small size it is rarely used. Mangokeylime (talk) 23:39, 10 April 2016 (UTC)[reply
