Hey, I'm User:Bobby Cohn. If you need to get in touch with me, my preferred method of contact is on my talk page. If you came here for an inquiry about a specific article, I invite you to start a discussion on that article's talk page, and invite me to discuss on my talk page.
I try and keep an eye on my watchlist but there's a lot in there. If you're waiting for a response from me on a project page and I've been active elsewhere on Wikipedia, consider leaving a message on my talk page politely reminding me and point to the discussion. Worst case scenario, I'll drop you a {{Read}} reply.
About me
I originally thought that I would edit in topics related to my day job. That didn't last long, and I instead found myself writing about topics that I came across that interested me. I find Wiki-crastinating to be quite enjoyable and I like the idea of contributing to a large project doing something good. I'm quite fond of the knowledge I come across while editing Wikipedia. "[I]s there any task you can't make longer by stopping to smell the trivia?"
The community has entrusted me with some advance permissions to assist me with some of my typical tasks. The Wiki Education Program, likely quoting someone else, said with great power comes great responsibility.[2] As such, I use these tools to help out in other areas of the project I'm not involved in. My editing philosophy says:
- We're here to build an encyclopedia.
- In pursuit of such goal, your main priorities are:
- Writing,
- Aiding good or salvageable work by others so that their writing may be kept.
- Do your work in such a way that it creates as little work that requires the attention or intervention of others.
- Use skills and tools that you have at your disposal to aid in:
- Preserving or improving writings by other editors,
- Closing and cleaning up some of the bureaucracy necessary in a large-scale collaborative project that is Wikipedia.[3]
- Be nice while doing the above. If you find yourself struggling to be nice, consider walking away.

Editing can be a tireless and thankless job. Sometimes I'll edit for the fun of it. Sometimes I'll really put my mind to a topic, and want to see an article flourish. If I list an article here, it's most likely because I'd like to come back to it and continue to improve it.
Some articles I currently have in my /sandbox
- Elvis Presley stamp
- Porkbun, an american domain registrar
- Meads v. Meads, Alberta trial court case
- Women Are Persons!, a pair of momuments in Ottawa and Calgary
- Pyrénéisme
- Lillian Edelstein
Articles I'd like to expand or bring into GA standing:
