Hi, I am Lamro. The word "Lamro" means "highlander" in Chechen language, but I am neither Chechen, nor do I live in mountains. This word just sounds good to my ears and looks even better to my eyes—this is why I have chosen it as my username. I am an investment banker and private equity professional from Moscow, Russia. Judging by my previous presence in Wikipedia, I am a hated loner here as only bots usually write to me. The areas of my professional interest include banking, private equity investments, general finance, accounting, valuation, macroeconomics, management consulting, heavy industry, chemistry, natural resources, construction, infrastructure. The areas of my hobby include architecture, interior design, painting, ethnography, modern music, books, movies.

The things that I like to do most for Wikipedia:

• Writing about things that I know professionally (mostly done)
• Writing about things that I simply like in my general life (in progress)
• Checking grammar and punctuation
• Adding images (corporate logos, movie posters, book covers, album covers, photos of historically significant people, etc.—thousands added, and I bet you have seen a great deal of them)
• Adding captions for images
• Adding links for captions
• Writing articles that a few will read but that still fit the wiki policies
• Adding refs for baseless articles
• Creating infoboxes (hundreds created)
• Adding missing info to infoboxes
• Creating wikilinks (thousands created)
• De-orphanning orphanned articles (see below)
• Translating articles from English wiki to my native language wiki and vice versa
