WikiCup 2016 August newsletter

Round 4 is over and 8 competitors have moved on to the finals.

The round saw five Featured Articles, one Featured List (by Dharmadhyaksha (submissions)), and 38 Good Articles (eight by MPJ-DK (submissions) and six by 12george1 (submissions). Eighteen Featured Pictures were promoted (all by Adam Cuerden (submissions)). The DYK base point total was 1,285. MPJ-DK (submissions) scored 520 base points, while Cwmhiraeth (submissions) scored 400 base points. Thirteen ITN were promoted and 20 Good Article Reviews were conducted. Two contestants, Cwmhiraeth (submissions) and MPJ-DK (submissions), broke the 1,000 point mark for Round 4, but the former has agreed not to participate in the finals as she has won the Cup previously.
