The company was founded in 2003 by Tibor Láczay and Julia Zhen in Marin County, California.[1]
Retail model
Zenni sells prescription glasses, sunglasses, cases and accessories exclusively online.[2] Customers can view how frames look on their face virtually by using the company's FrameFit tool.[3]
Products
In 2016, Zenni introduced their "Beyond UV" lenses which protects eyes from "blue light" rays.[4][5]
