Information icon Hello, I'm Joshua Jonathan. I noticed that you recently removed content from B. B. Lal without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Information icon Please do not add original research or novel syntheses of published material to articles as you apparently did to Democratic backsliding. Please cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. Thank you. Tayi Arajakate Talk 17:40, 12 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Tayi Arajakate: How is it original research? I sourced it properly. First time, I agree, my sources were not so good and you pointed it out. But this time are the sources not all right? 183.83.146.194 (talk) 01:49, 13 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Tayi Arajakate: Please explain, so that I can correct in future. 183.83.146.194 (talk) 06:19, 13 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

If you click on the link to
original research
, you will find that it states " any analysis or synthesis of published material that serves to reach or imply a conclusion not stated by the sources."
In Special:Diff/1017419370, you added the line "However, most other democracy watchdogs still generally consider India a democracy." This isn't verifiable from the citations you provided, one links to a no found error page on Freedom House and the other is the home page of the Economist Intelligence Unit. Both are primary sources in this instance and can only be used to refer to their rating/standing. Tayi Arajakate Talk 06:30, 13 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
