Just because The Monkees were four actors playing the parts of a fictional band doesn't make them a fictional band. At least not when they actually recorded some of their music as a real band. The fact that they recorded some of their music as a real band surpasses the fact that they were four actors hired to play a fictional band. Even when they were actors, they still did things that no fictional band could have done, because a fictional band can't exist in the real world. Even if only a fraction of those things aired on television. If they were four voice actors that provided the voices of a cartoon band such as The Archies, then it would be different. ― C.Syde (talk | contribs) 03:25, 18 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I added a song that they did, why is that wrong? Why are you bullying me? Nattypc (talk) 03:28, 18 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Nattypc: Because it isn't one of their all time greatest hits. '(I'm Not Your) Steppin' Stone' may be widely regarded as one of their greatest hits. And has been featured on most of their greatest hits albums. But it isn't up there with the other songs mentioned in that sentence. And therefore it isn't a noteworthy example. Also if you aren't the same user as 86.30.30.70 then I strongly advise you to stop editing The Monkees page, because you are getting involved in an edit war that we want to resolve as quickly as possible. ― C.Syde (talk | contribs) 03:35, 18 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
