Thanks for uploading Image:Washington park MAX-plz.jpg. I notice the image page currently doesn't specify who created the image, so the copyright status is therefore unclear. If you have not created the image yourself then you need to argue that we have the right to use the image on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the image yourself then you should also specify where you found it, i.e., in most cases link to the website where you got it, and the terms of use for content from that page.
If the image also doesn't have a copyright tag then you must also add one. If you created/took the picture then you can use {{
If you have uploaded other images, please check that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find a list of image pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Good work on the James Withycombe article. I was wondering though, where is your source for "He received his Master's Degree in Agriculture 1891 from OAC"? I am in the ongoing process of adding all famous OSU alumni to
- I can see you put a lot of work into researching this, good work. What I meant in my original comment was that yes, I realized he was faculty, but I was unaware he was also an alumni as he wasn't on the famous alumni list at OSU. Did the book say it was an honorary degree or something? That is the only explanation I can think of as to why he wouldn't be included. If he did indeed go here for grad school (undergraduate as well?) then he should certainly be on the famous alumni list at OSU. VegaDark 20:02, 16 August 2006 (UTC)
WikiProject South Park
I have thought of creating a WikiProject for South Park since it is now near its' 10th anniversary and has more articles than ever. I feel we could all do the following things through this project:
- Cleanup any short/poorly written/unformatted articles
- Merge/lengthen the many character articles
- Improve the South Park main page
I have seen your South Park fan template and wondered if you were interested in joining. If so reply to my talk page and I'll get back to you as quick as I can. Thanks, Mr. Garrison
Oregon seals
Hey what ever became of the seals project? You were pretty much done, right? I thought there was a list of all the ones you had asked about, along with their pro and con status regarding whether we could use them, but darned if I can find it anywhere. I'm asking because one of our new WikiProject members has added a few seals and I wanted to make sure he didn't get in trouble for that. But I don't want to say anything unless I know what I'm talking about. :) Thanks!
Use of one of your photos in a new transit textbook
Hi Adam-- I'm working with Vukan Vuchic (www.seas.upenn.edu/~vuchic) on a new urban transit textbook (http://www.wiley.com/WileyCDA/WileyTitle/productCd-047175823X.html). Dr. Vuchic would like to use a photo you took that's currently on the nycsubway.org site (http://world.nycsubway.org/perl/show?30638). We asked the webmaster there for permission to use the photo in Dr. Vuchic's textbook, but he said they don't give permission for commercial reuse of the photos on the site. I noticed that the photos you've uploaded to Wikipedia are licensed as public domain, so I'm wondering if you might be willing to let Dr. Vuchic use your photo of the Vancouver Skytrain in his book. We'll be happy to credit you as the source. Thx. Jim, Pixel23 21:15, 8 December 2006 (UTC)

This is an automated message from a robot. You have recently uploaded Image:Albany oregon city seal.jpg. The file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

WPOR Collaboration: 09172007
All righty WPOR ladies and gentleman, great job last week with our state song and gemstone. I have bumped them up to Start class. I haven’t looked at the contributions, so the COTW award will be later. This week’s articles are Darlene Hooley, by special request, and another Top stub, our very own state rock, the Thunderegg. Yes, apparently we have a state rock and state gemstone. No word on whether there is a state stone too. Hooley basically needs some sources to make it to the next level. Fall WPOR COTW
Welcome to autmun and the weekly COTW news. Great job to those who helped out with last week’s articles: Darlene Hooley & Thunderegg. Both made great improvements. This week, something a little different. With fall upon us, the photo ops are going to be harder to get, so we have a photo request fulfillment drive. Take a look at the requested pictures for Oregon category or the graphics subproject for what’s needed. Then go take a picture, or search online for a free picture to upload (US gov sites are great and there are links available from the above links). If you fill a request, be sure to remove the request template from the article’s talk page. Our other item is another red link removal drive, this time on the flagship Oregon article. Like the state parks red link drive, try to coordinate on the talk page. Again to opt out or suggest future collaborative efforts click here. Aboutmovies 01:24, 24 September 2007 (UTC)
