Hello. Last month, two users left messages on the nomination page regarding the article, and they have pointed out that there are still some issue that need to be addressed. Please edit the article to solve these problems; as the article has not been edited since April, and the comments have not received responses, the nomination will be marked as stale and may be closed in the next few days unless a prompt response is done. Thank you and happy editing.
Muhammad Taqi Shushtari moved to draftspace
This article is almost completely incomprehensible in its present form. Was this person an Islamic scholatr, an author, a poet? When did he live - that one date in the article (1902) is obviously completely off the mark)? What was his significance? Just listing a lot of names does not make an accpetable encyclopedic article. Please add some intelligible substance here, otherwise this won't be usable on Wikipedia.

- I am not quite sure - are you saying that Dhakir is a better name, and Dhikr should redirect to it?--Ymblanter (talk) 09:48, 14 January 2019 (UTC)]
- @Ymblanter: I'm saying that both of them should exist at two separate articles. Dhakir/Dhikr are not precisely the same. AFAIK, in the current existing article (dhikr), it has mentioned --very briefly-- only in a sentence that: "A person who recites the Dhikr is called a ḏākir ([ˈðaːkɪr] ذاكر)." But it has not explained more about it (since it needs more details...). So, I created a separated article about "Dhakir" with more related details/explanation in about three paragraphs which could be more helpful for readers. The user who has removed my article, wrote that: (redirect target is both older and better developed. RV to redirect). Well, I was wondering how I can create it in a new page/article? (Would you kindly fix it)? Ali Ahwazi (talk) 09:45, 15 January 2019 (UTC)

. Nick-D (talk) 23:07, 1 September 2021 (UTC)- In particular, your recent edits to the Islamophobia in Australia are blatant hoaxes, as they include non-existent ministers and senators. I note that these edits are very similar in nature to others you have made to other articles which basically comprise copied and pasted 'quotes' referenced to obscure sources. I think that all of these edits need to be treated with great suspicion. Nick-D (talk) 23:14, 1 September 2021 (UTC)

Honestly, I was surprised to see that I became indef, but I must admit that I had to be much more careful. You wrote in your comment that I have mentioned senators who do not exist. I have to explain that: in this edition, by Nick Zenfon, I actually meant Nick Xenophon. This has been my negligence and I am sorry about that. Nick Xenophon's remarks can also be seen on the BBC and The Guardian (Please ctrl + f "heartbreaking"). The deportation of Logan Robertson can also be seen in this source. This explanation is not to say that I do not accept my mistakes, but in fact I intend to request that I be given another chance to continue my editing. Ali Ahwazi (talk) 07:28, 3 September 2021 (UTC)

@Nick-D:, @331dot:, of course, I mentioned it before, but I wanted to say again that I realized my mistakes and now that it is blocked, I really need you to give me another chance to be able to use credible sources more accurately. Also: You wrote in your comment that I have mentioned senators who do not exist. I have to explain that in this edition: in fact I meant "Nick Xenophon" but wrongly I wrote "Nick Zenfon"; And I do not mean just this, and there must have been other mistakes, too. This has been my negligence and I am sorry about that. Therefore, I will try to make the next edits more carefully. Thanks a lot. Ali Ahwazi (talk) 07:30, 16 September 2021 (UTC)

If you would like your unblock request to be taken seriously, please provide more detail on how you will avoid similar problems in the future. For instance, please explain how you will identify reliable sources and take care with editing to avoid adding inaccuracies to articles. Nick-D (talk) 09:50, 16 September 2021 (UTC)
Thank you dear 331dot.
@Nick-D:, I did more research and as far as I realized: the more challenging content should provide a more credible source for it. A source that has a reputation for fact checking can be considered credible. In this regard, I can get help from other users through this page. Users need to be more careful about living people. Sometimes content needs to be attributed to the source. But in general, there are many things and details that I gradually learn. Thank you for considering my request. Ali Ahwazi (talk) 15:25, 17 September 2021 (UTC)
- Ali Ahwazi, one thing I would recommend to you, if you're unblocked, is to use English language reliable sources instead of Farsi language sources. It seems your translations are not entirely accurate (for example, you said Logan Robertson was a "priest", but he's actually a pastor). You can go back to Farsi only when you get better at translating.VR talk 05:10, 20 September 2021 (UTC)
- Ali Ahwazi, as noted below, your improper use of comma did give a false impression. I'd recommend reading up more on proper use of punctuation. Here is one illustrated guide on how improper punctuation use can be problematic.VR talk 20:26, 20 September 2021 (UTC)
- Hello Nick-D, you said that Ali Ahwazi added hoaxes to Islamophobia in Australia, can you explain? I can see that he didn't use a reliable source to cite his claims about living people - and that's a serious concern. But his additions to that article aren't hoaxes and can be verified by reliable sources[1][2][3] (as he explained). I agree that his writing contains several typos and other mistakes that make the content inaccurate, but I don't see mal-intent behind those mistakes.VR talk 05:10, 20 September 2021 (UTC)
- Claiming that the "Australian Immigration Minister" is "Logan Robertson" and that there is a "Senator Nick Zenfon" (there is a Nick Xenophon, but he's a former senator). Per the above discussion, this may have been incompetent editing rather than deliberate hoaxing. Nick-D (talk) 09:00, 20 September 2021 (UTC)
@Nick-D:, if more information is needed, I will provide it and wait for my request to be considered. Thanks a lot. Ali Ahwazi (talk) 18:20, 23 September 2021 (UTC)
@Nick-D:, I will be grateful if you see my request. Thank you. Ali Ahwazi (talk) 14:40, 8 October 2021 (UTC)

@Nick-D:, In a message I wrote at 15:25, 17 September 2021 (UTC) I explained how to identify and find valid sources. In addition to Wikipedia: Reliable sources / Noticeboard I can also use Wikipedia: Reliable sources / Perennial sources to identify a reliable source. . In the same comment, I stated that in the case of Living people, resources should be chosen more carefully. I have also reviewed the contents of Wikipedia: Competence is required and there were some useful points in it. These points included the importance of identifying reliable sources and reading them carefully and the ability to communicate with other editors. Ali Ahwazi (talk) 08:03, 16 October 2021 (UTC)

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Friendly fire during the Israel–Hamas war into another page. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution
. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. Please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor, and if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, you should provide attribution for that also. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. —Compassionate727 (T·C) 01:34, 25 March 2024 (UTC)

It's a start. Needs more and clearer prose content. Happy editing!

You have added multiple named references to the article Timeline of the Israeli–Palestinian conflict in 2024, but they were never defined with a full citation, according to the articles history. Here are just three examples, out of many - Diff 1, Diff 2, Diff 3 — cite error 1, cite error 2, cite error 3. Please add full citations to the named references you have added to the aforementioned article. Thanks. Isaidnoway (talk) 21:40, 28 April 2024 (UTC)
I appreciate you for telling the mentioned point; I'll pay more attention to it. Good luck. Ali Ahwazi (talk) 10:36, 29 April 2024 (UTC)
June 2024
On the Timeline of the Israel–Hamas war (12 January 2024 – 6 May 2024) page, you made 5 edits between 12 June and 13 June. I have reverted one of them for duplicate content, see full reasoning here, and will note that 2 more of these need to reverted as well due to the following reasons:
- edit 1 needs to be reverted due to incorrect dates:
- al-Shifa Hospital was sieged Mid-November and had a second "siege" March 18 - April 1 (sources disagree on whether this second Al-Shifa operation was a siege or a multi-day raid), see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Al-Shifa_Hospital_siege#March_2024_siege
- al-Amal was sieged at least before February 5th, see https://theintercept.com/2024/02/08/gaza-hospital-seige-red-crescent/
- and Nasser Hospitals siege on January 26th, see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nasser_Hospital_siege
- Instead, I encourage you to list these as individual events underneath their starting dates or ending dates. Please research these start dates and cite them appropriately.
- edit 2 needs to be reverted due to it being a duplicated event in wrong location. Flour massacre occured on Feb 29, not Jan 29.
Per the
"Considerable leeway is also given to editors reverting to maintain the quality of a featured article while it appears on the Main Page."
Although this is not a featured article, a link to it does appear on the main page. This quote implies that the significance of an article appearing on the main page raises the need for potential reverts. As such I will revert your recent edits due to incorrect dates and duplicated information in wrong location. Relspas (talk) 17:07, 14 June 2024 (UTC)
I appreciate you for paying attention to the mentioned point. Good luck. Ali Ahwazi (talk) 17:50, 14 June 2024 (UTC)
Categorization
When adding categories to articles please keep
Categorizations should generally be uncontroversial; if the category's topic is likely to spark controversy, then a list article (which can be annotated and referenced) is probably more appropriate.
For example, if something cannot be stated in Wikivoice (for example, if we cannot call a politician a criminal in Wikivoice) then we cannot categorize them as a criminal. BilledMammal (talk) 23:11, 16 June 2024 (UTC)
Thank you for paying attention to this matter. Good luck.Ali Ahwazi (talk) 08:20, 17 June 2024 (UTC)
