DYK nomination of Aldersbach brewery

Sorry, our edits overlapped. Please replace the new source you added. Take a look at what I did and see if there is unnecessary repetition, like in the first two sentences of the Description, and the repeated talk of similar instruments (these sentences should be grouped together). Yoninah (talk) 15:23, 21 August 2020 (UTC)

Yoninah, added and thanks for the edit. I understood what changes you were referring to be made ~ Amkgp 💬 15:28, 21 August 2020 (UTC)

DYK for Franz-Peter Weixler

On 23 August 2020, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Franz-Peter Weixler, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that Franz-Peter Weixler was arrested for sharing uncensored pictures of the Massacre of Kondomari in Crete, the originals of which were later burned in Berlin? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Franz-Peter Weixler. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, Franz-Peter Weixler), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

Polymer ratio

Hi, just a quick query - why close Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Polymer ratio as redirect rather than merge? I realise doesn't make much different in the grand scheme of things though, as is effectively merged anyway. -Kj cheetham (talk) 10:14, 25 August 2020 (UTC)

Kj cheetham, It is basically a merge to Polymerization and then redirect it to new section Polymerization#Polymer ratio. Considering it to be a decade old article I have moved the contents as a section to and redirected it so subject experts/editors can build upon future. ~ Amkgp 💬 14:07, 25 August 2020 (UTC)

DYK edit notices

Hi again. I notice you're not leaving any message in the edit history when you promote a hook to prep. It would be very helpful if you would note which prep set you're putting in, as sometimes we need to track down a hook and we can use the promoter's date stamp to find which prep it was put in. I generally write when I close the template: to Prep X; see for example [1]. And when you add the hook to the prep set, please leave some kind of note there too. I usually write the name of the article; others write the name of the template. See for example [2]. Best, Yoninah (talk) 17:08, 25 August 2020 (UTC)

Request on 11:21:58, 2 September 2020 for assistance on AfC submission by Salawuabiodun

Thank you for your review and feedback to me on my article. But, I don't really understand. You said I should be neutral with the writing of the article. I thought I was. Could you please provide me with a sample as a guide?

BLPPROD

Hi Amkgp, I just removed your BLP PROD from

WP:BLPPROD to be applicable, it requires that the article contains no sources in any form (as references, external links, etc.) which support any statements made about the person in the biography (bolding in original). The article has two external links - one to instagram, one to IMDB - I totally get that they are entirely unreliable sources, but the criteria for BLPPRODs are judged very narrowly, and any external link at all is enough. There's no prejudice against you nominating at AfD if there aren't any better sources. Cheers GirthSummit (blether)

Draft:Ikke Nurjanah yesterday. Instead of solving the issue The creator again re-created the same in main-space with additional more of un-sourced works. Its was same with Draft:Dheeraj Kalwani. Thank you. ~ Amkgp 💬
13:42, 2 September 2020 (UTC)
I don't disagree with you that the sourcing for the article is inadequate, and that if no better sourcing exists then it needs to be deleted. It's just a matter of procedure - I can't accept a BLPPROD on an article that has external links, the author would be within their rights to drag me to AN to explain myself. Draftify would be the right call if the author was willing to put more work into finding sources, but if they insist on putting in into mainspace then it needs to go to AfD. If there's consensus to delete there, any future recreation would be subject to G4 deletion (which this isn't - it's different from the old version). GirthSummit (blether) 13:51, 2 September 2020 (UTC)
Girth Summit, I have added {{BLP sources}} tag for any future editor or reviewer to address the concern. ~ Amkgp 💬 13:55, 2 September 2020 (UTC)

Hi, I would like you to reconsider your promotion of this hook to a non-image slot. When you have a very good picture at thumbnail size and a hook that's good enough for the lead slot, it should be put in the lead slot.

Too often we have great hooks with bad images, or good images with poor hooks. In the former case, I'd promote it to a non-image slot. But in the latter case, I'd work with the nominator to come up with a lead-worthy hook. Best, Yoninah (talk) 13:11, 4 September 2020 (UTC)

WP:DYKNA for consideration as an image hook in future. Thanks. ~ Amkgp 💬

DYK for Joaquín Bilbao

On 5 September 2020, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Joaquín Bilbao, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that Joaquín Bilbao first studied drawing, watercolour, and law before launching a career as a sculptor with works like the statue of Ferdinand III of Castile (pictured) located in Plaza Nueva, Seville? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Joaquín Bilbao. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, Joaquín Bilbao), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Prep 6

Hi again. I don't know if you're following discussions at

WP:DYKNA. Second of all, the Johanna André bio hook is hardly quirky. I moved it to a later set, and will replace it with something else. Best, Yoninah (talk

Yoninah, yes you caught all the reasons right, I was following the alternate ones. I am pausing so that we do not collide for the corrections and moves and I believe you are more experienced than me in handling. Sorry for the inconvenience. ~ Amkgp 💬 18:25, 5 September 2020 (UTC)
Well, I'm just trying to finish up Prep 6 now. You can continue with Prep 1 if you'd like. Best, Yoninah (talk) 18:28, 5 September 2020 (UTC)
