Hello Briguychau, I saw that you'd created some Windows Vista userboxes, and thought I'd ask you my question on the OS. Do you know if Vista can rip DVDs and store them to be easily accessed by Windows Media Player? Thanks for any help,

Hey! I was looking for userboxes and I found your User:Briguychau/Userboxes/Vista userbox and I have a question about this userbox. Why you have an apostrophe ("'") instead of a logo of Windows Vista or something like that on place for picture?

File source problem with File:IPod Touch 3.0.png
Thanks for uploading File:IPod Touch 3.0.png. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on

File permission problem with File:TI-Nspire Touchpad.JPG
Thanks for uploading File:TI-Nspire Touchpad.JPG. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.
If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-enwikimedia.org.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. dave pape (talk) 01:58, 6 October 2010 (UTC)
- Also File:TI-Nspire CAS Touchpad.JPG. The permission e-mails should be forwarded to permissions-en as described above. Note however that the e-mail you quote only requests permission to use the images on Wikipedia, which is not sufficient to claim a general free license. You should probably use one of the template e-mails (also above) to ask the copyright owner to license them properly. --dave pape (talk) 02:03, 6 October 2010 (UTC)

Air Canada Rouge
Hi and thanks for your edits at
Hello. Thanks for your feedback. I've been following the Air Canada and Air Canada Rouge fleet information for years now. All of my sources, including AC's website (which is admittedly incorrect sometimes: the page itself currently shows future information that will be accurate by July at http://www.aircanada.com/en/about/fleet/fin.html) show that C-GHLA is operated by Air Canada Rouge. Furthermore, all flight tracking websites list the aircraft as operated by Rouge. For many years that I've been updating these two pages, the rationale for including aircraft in the specific fleets are based on the carrier that operates the aircraft and NOT the carrier it is registered to. I'm not sure when or why the reference on the page was changed to the Canadian aircraft registry, but it is quite obvious that the information is often out of date (e.g. C-FJTP). Also, wet Lease operations do NOT use the callsign of the carrier the aircraft is leased to (it uses the flight number only). In fact, you can consider all Air Canada Rouge aircraft to be wet leased to Air Canada as they do not operate using their flight numbers. The fact of the matter is, the aircraft is currently operated by Air Canada Rouge, using Air Canada Rouge configurations, on routes that Air Canada has designated as Air Canada Rouge routes using flight numbers designated for Air Canada Rouge, using radio callsigns of Air Canada Rouge. Therefore, there is no reason why the specific aircraft should not be listed on that page. Thank you. Briguychau (talk) 15:04, 19 May 2016 (UTC)

The 1000 Women in Religion Project is working to improve the coverage of women’s contributions to religious, spiritual and wisdom traditions worldwide. In support of this goal, the edit-a-thon at Atla's (formerly the American Theological Library Association) annual meeting will focus on improving articles about women in religion. I'll assist you in updating s-line transclusions for the Super View Odoriko. The overall plan is to convert s-line to Template:Adjacent stations, and central Tokyo will come after I finish updating stations north of Sendai. For now I'll implement the Saphir Odoriko in s-line. Future Yokosuka Line E235 series
Where exactly did you find that the future sets will be known as the “E235-1000 series?” I checked the Japanese version of the article and it still refers to them as “Future Sōbu and Yokosuka Line sets”. --
I saw that someone else edited the page first, but since I can't find a good source I'll revert both my changes and the other user's changes until I can find a source. Briguychau (talk) 04:49, 20 April 2020 (UTC)

I'm sorry to trouble you, but you seem to have a better understanding of Japanese than mine, so you may be able to help me a lot. I'm trying to write a section about the refurbishment of the Rinkai Line's 70-000 series, from the corresponding section in Japanese. I've got something started at
Could you or someone you know help me out? Thanks --
I think that so far it looks correct, but perhaps sourcing those changes would be helpful. The original Japanese page isn't really sourced, and is not a web site either, so the information is more difficult to verify. Briguychau (talk) 05:46, 5 May 2020 (UTC)
