There have been claims that the record set by that train has been broken, but these were never proven. To prove that the InterCity 125 is NOT the world's fastest diesel train, those claims must first be proven to be correct. They haven't, so the InterCity 125 is the world's fastest diesel train. You should have added the new source when you made your original edit. Making edits so that the article no longer says what the source says is not allowed. Don't do it again.
