Hello Chemicalinterest, what do you mean with this: "How do you get element pictures?" --Alchemist-hp (talk) 22:25, 6 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Co2O3

Oops! Sorry. I was trying to remove the crystal structure, not your picture of the material, which I think is helpful. You can see that I looked into the Co2O3 and it apparently never been crystallized. Oxides are complicated things, but I digress...--Smokefoot (talk) 00:54, 11 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

MB Branch along South Middlebush Road.JPG

Regarding the image File:MB Branch along South Middlebush Road.JPG; Did you deliberatly post this image sideways? Because if you'd like I can replace it with an upright version before it gets sent off to the commons. ----DanTD (talk) 20:54, 22 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry for the late response. I was away for a long time. No. It was taken in my more amateur days of photography. You can flip it if you like. --Chemicalinterest (talk) 20:51, 26 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Screwy neodymnium (III) photos

I have been unable to locate the photos you uploaded to the neodymium article in the website. However, I have reason to believe that they are labeled incorrectly. The "daylight" and "fluorescent light" photos should be somewhat similar, due to fluorescent emissions from UV, which should be missing in the "incandescent" shot. But that is not what we see! So I don't believe it. Any photo in which incandescent "fluorescence" looks more like daylight than "fluoroscent light" fluorescense does, has got to be wrong. SBHarris 01:03, 1 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Here's the source. Chemicalinterest aka --98.221.179.18 (talk) 10:57, 1 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
These are mislabeled. Although the "tungsten" color is discussed, it is not actually shown! What IS shown is "cold-TL light," which I take it is some type of LED light (google it). The fluorescent light is an energy-saver tube which I take it has the UV and some other components removed, so it's hard to say what's happening. In any case the photos are daylight, energy saver fluorescent, and some kind of white LED. At least put that in. SBHarris 04:14, 3 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I mistakenly thought TL was an abbreviation for tungsten light. --98.221.179.18 (talk) 10:55, 3 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Psychoactives

Hi, do you have any interest in psychoactive chemicals, by any chance? Particularly, hallucinogens? 62.255.129.19 (talk) 21:02, 3 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Umm, no. Although I am an amateur chemist, I am not a meth cook. Psychoactives make a lot of trouble for experimenters, so no thanks to the offer. --Chemicalinterest (talk) 21:08, 3 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Perchloric Acid

I am looking for help on the

Perchloric Acid article. Please see the talk page for details. I can't find an explanation for the varying pKa values given by most sources. I was hoping that since you're in college, you will have some good sources at your disposal and would be able to resolve the issue. Thanks, Explodo-nerd (talk) 17:21, 16 January 2012 (UTC)[reply
