Hello and thanks for the message. This IP is unfortunately well-known to the F1 project and we have been battling with his disruptive edits for over 6 mths. Blocked three times but just carries on. Please help. I am not Wikiliterate. You recommend deletion yet I know my facts are accurate and can add any amount of references. The problem is that I cannot make sense of the tutorials etc. How do I get adequate guidance from a real person to achieve correct formatting??

Dear Dinnypaul, This is the text as it now stands on-line and, to replace existing ones, append list of references + numbers for text, also further publications. (Please note there is another Dr Wolfgang Lutz, a demographer, hence deletion of one book.) Please delete occupation ‘nutritionist’ and category ‘nutrition’: Lutz was quite clear he was not a nutritionist but a doctor of medicine, using his own diet to help heal his patients after thorough examination. Nor was he a dietician. I have underlined other words that maybe should be highlighted, such as low carbohydrate nutrition, insulin etc.? Book titles and magazine titles are in italic (British academic tradition). Let me know if there are any changes I should make to suit Wikipedia that might help. I thank you very much for your help. Wolfgang J. Lutz (May 27, 1913 – 19 September 2010) was an Austrian inventor, consultant in internal (general) medicine and author of Leben ohne Brot (1). Lutz showed how, with little recourse to surgery or drugs, fundamental improvement could be made to health through low carbohydrate nutrition; he demonstrated, inter alia, a probable way of preventing the huge and mounting toll exacted by obesity and diabetes. To honour this contribution, Lutz was made a Freeman of the City of London in 2007. His book with Christian Allan: Life without Bread: How a low-carbohydrate diet can save your life (2) is still in print after 16 years. His notable career in scientific research included inventing a prototype spacesuit (5) and developing resuscitation techniques to prevent death from freezing (6), which brought Lutz the award of Habilitation, a great distinction in the scientific world, together with a post doctoral degree in internal and aviation medicine from the University of Vienna, After World War II Wolfgang Lutz turned to the practice of medicine. As a consultant in internal medicine, Wolfgang Lutz turned his attention to the dramatic escalation of degenerative disease. His wide-ranging and penetrating gaze swept from our Ice-Age origins to the modern world and his approach to medicine changed (1). Taking as his basic thesis that the pattern of our hormonal secretion is still tuned to the largely animal food diet of that distant epoch, Lutz surmised that too large an intake of carbohydrate might disturb the intrinsic harmony of the endocrine system and hence our health, ultimately leading to disease. This caused him, as early as the 1950s, to experiment with (7) then instigate (1) a diet for long-term use that he felt to be low enough in carbohydrate to be compatible with our genetic inheritance and so restore the missing harmony. Career The body’s primary response to an increase in dietary carbohydrate is to increase insulin production. Wolfgang Lutz demonstrated that his obese patients often suffered from an overproduction of insulin and identified a seesawing of compensatory hormonal measures: typically, an increase in insulin, thyroid and adrenal hormones and a decrease in the growth hormone (8). Sex hormones were also affected (9). Lutz was the first to describe how these disturbances in hormonal regulation and their very varied repercussions underlay many of the diseases of civilisation (10) (11). In the early 1960s, Wolfgang Lutz conducted ground-breaking hen-feeding trials which showed that, in hens, a reduction in carbohydrate - not of fat - reduced the incidence of arteriosclerosis (12). (Hens like humans had moved from a largely animal to a largely carbohydrate diet and suffered similar changes in their arterial walls in old age.) Reassured by this, together with the relief from pain and inflammation he experienced with his own osteoarthritic hips and the positive results from his growing clinical experience (1), Lutz was to spend the next forty or so years observing on a wide range of ailments both the immediate results and, when possible, the effect of following his diet for many years. As it went to the very root of the problem, the simple expedient of sufficient carbohydrate restriction (with no limitation put on protein or fat intake - or on calories except as a short-term measure for extreme obesity) proved a remarkable therapeutic tool (1) (2) (3). Dr Lutz was to find that his low carbohydrate diet was effective with both childhood obesity and with hyperinsulinism - a hormonal pathway to both common obesity and, through exhaustion of supply, to Type II diabetes) (1) (2) (13); he found that sufficient carbohydrate restriction could prevent the vascular complications of adult onset diabetes. Carefully implemented and occasionally with temporary support from drugs, Lutz further demonstrated the benefit of his diet to a wide range of medical conditions from early multiple sclerosis (14) to heart failure (1) (3), from morbus Crohn (1) (15) (16) and ulcerative colitis (1) (17) (18) to osteoarthritis he showed it could lower cholesterol levels (1) (19), normalise high and low levels of blood iron and calcium (1) (20) (21), and ease many problems of reproduction. Wolfgang Lutz also found that his low carbohydrate diet brought patients many general improvements amongst which were improved immune function, a calmer nervous system, better digestion, enhanced skin and tissue quality, and a positive effect on overall health. His main book Leben ohne Brot reached its 16th edition in 2007 (1) after being in continuous print for forty years. Death Dr Lutz died in Austria in 2010, at 97 years of age (22). Personal life Dr Wolfgang Lutz had five children. In 1997 Dr Lutz registered with the B M A in order to be able to work in London. He and his 3rd wife Helen Paula lived for 6 months a year in London and spent the other six in Graz, Austria. Wolfgang Lutz was a member of the Athenaeum Club (3). REFERENCES

Hi. This is Sam pattersons dad here. The information on wiki isn't correct hence why I keep reverting back to my wiki on Sam. Sam wasn't born in Leeds he was born in Wakefield. He returned from Halifax fc early due to injury. He was out injured from January 2014 to November 2014. He signed for Bradford park avenue in November 2014 and at the end of the season he was offered another contract there but chose to go on trial at Shrewsbury. He chose to leave Shrewsbury in January 2016 as he didn't feature in many games. Resigned for Bradford park avenue for the rest of the 2016 season.
Please stop updating his wiki with incorrect information that you may have sourced from external Links some of which are incorrect.

It's important that his wiki is correct as agents / scouts in the game tend to get players history using wiki and any mis information may be of harm to his career going forward.

@DDSHJ1976: Please understand that you are not editing the article correctly that is the main reason why your edits are getting reverted again and again you are adding wakefield in the birthdate section instead of birthplace section please provide reliable references to prove your edits and if you are the father of the person's article in question then there is a Conflict of Interest too for now I'm reverting your edits assuming it was made in good faith please do not revert it back as you may be blocked from editing altogether I will try to make the changes as you have mentioned to me like the birthplace and all if I get reliable sources to prove it Have a nice day Dinnypaul (talk) 11:26, 22 February 2016 (UTC)

@DDSHJ1976: Ok I've removed the sentence that says that "he was getting released for a 2nd time by Bradford park avenue" as it was not there in the reference but I cannot add the information regarding his injury as I cannot find a reliable to source to prove it happened if you have a reliable source that says sam was injured provide me the link and I will add that information accordingly. Thanks for editing SAMs page.
Please can you insert the reason why Sam was released from Barnsley?
SAMs contract ran out in June of 2014 at Barnsley fc. Because of this a club won't renew or offer a player a new contract whilst injured and because Sam wasn't fit again until November it was too far gone in the season. Barnsley however let Sam do his rehab from January until November with the full support of Barnsley fc in order for Sam to get fit. Sam's injury isn't documented online as all medical reports are confidential.
Sam had an operation in Feb 2015 under Dr Ernest Shildes at The Wellington Hospital, London, paid for by the FA.
Then attend 2 x 1 weekly re-hab at St. Georges Park through the FA.
Then saw Dr. Stefaan Vossen on a regular basis from around Sept 2014. The treatment he received from Stefaan has cured sam. He still sees Stafaan on a regular basis.
