Suffragette posters
Hi, I have deleted the link to suffragette posters in the Suffragette article as there is no such article and, when I looked at your contributions you have decided to change the name of the one you want to Women's suffrage posters. However I'm confused about how you are going about this. You have created an article before but started off with an article creation request, as you have done this time. If you want to create an article yourself then you just type the name in the search box. You will then get a message saying it doesn't exist but you can create it. You then click on the red link and create the article from there. The draft article creation request is used when you want someone else to create an article for you - not when you are going to do it yourself. Also putting a link in another article to an article that doesn't exist is used to encourage someone else to create the article, so there is no point in adding one when you are going to create one yourself - better to link to the article once you've created it and it's ready to go. Actually, the best way to go about this without any interference is to lay out and write the article in your sandbox, rather than doing it in user space, and then when you're happy with it create the article page from the red link and copy and paste the completed article from your sandbox. Hi Ipigott @Ipigott:. Thanks for your message and the kind welcome. I will take a look at that 'ten rules' page. I'm working on an edit-a-thon this Saturday, so trying to build a list of topics for editing, etc. The Women in Red project is a great place to find such content. Best, Deborah Dma132 (talk) 10:58, 28 February 2018 (UTC)
Online support for Stroud edit-a-thon?
I saw your note on the WikiProject Somerset talk page. I also know a bit about Gloucestershire - I'm supposed to be in Gloucester on Monday. What do you need? If you let me know what time I'll try to help.— Rod talk 21:06, 2 March 2018 (UTC)
Hi User:Rodw - thanks very much for your message. I don't have any specific questions yet, but I'm sure some will arise during the day. I will reach out via your talk page to see if you're available, if that's ok. More importantly, would you be available to chat with us (video or voice, depending on what you prefer) about Wikiproject Somerset? We have been inspired by your work and are considering setting up something for Stroud. Dma132 (talk) 09:58, 3 March 2018 (UTC)
- I'm around but can't guarentee to be sitting at the machine all the time. You can either put message on my talk page or here and I will try to respond asap. I would suggest not setting up a project for one town but use Wikipedia:WikiProject Gloucestershire as reaching a wider group.— Rod talk 10:01, 3 March 2018 (UTC)

Hello! Sorry for writing in English. The Wikimedia Foundation is asking for your feedback in a survey. We want to know how well we are supporting your work on and off wiki, and how we can change or improve things in the future. The opinions you share will directly affect the current and future work of the Wikimedia Foundation. You have been randomly selected to take this survey as we would like to hear from your Wikimedia community. The survey is available in various languages and will take between 20 and 40 minutes.
You can find more information about this survey on the project page and see how your feedback helps the Wikimedia Foundation support editors like you. This survey is hosted by a third-party service and governed by this privacy statement (in English). Please visit our frequently asked questions page to find more information about this survey. If you need additional help, or if you wish to opt-out of future communications about this survey, send an email through the EmailUser feature to WMF Surveys to remove you from the list.
Thank you!

Every response for this survey can help the Wikimedia Foundation improve your experience on the Wikimedia projects. So far, we have heard from just 26% of Wikimramedia contributors who Wikimedia programs like the Education program, editathons, or image contests. The survey is available in various languages and will take between 20 and 40 minutes to be completed. Take the survey now.
If you are not fluent in English, I apologize again for posting in English. If you have already taken the survey, we are sorry you've received this reminder. We have designed the survey to make it impossible to identify which users have taken the survey, so we have to send reminders to everyone. If you wish to opt-out of the next reminder or any other survey, send an email through EmailUser feature to WMF Surveys. Invitation to participate in study
Hello,
I am E. Whittaker, I am working with Wikimedia’s Scoring Team to create a labeled dataset, and potentially a tool, to help editors deal with incivility when they encounter it on talk pages. A full write-up of the study can be found here: m:Research:Civil_Behavior_Interviews. We are currently recruiting editors to be interviewed about their experiences with incivility on talk pages. Would you be interested in being interviewed? I am contacting you because of your involvement in Wikipedia’s Women in Red project. The interviews should take ~1 hour, and will be conducted over BlueJeans (which does allow interviews to be recorded). If, so, please email me at [email protected] in order to schedule an interview.

In July 2015 around 15.5% of the English Wikipedia's biographies were about women. As of July 2023, 19.61% of the English Wikipedia's biographies are about women.
