I'd like to be removed from adoption

You're busy in real life and on Wikipedia so I don't think it would be beneficial for us to continue. I hope we can work together in the future. I might go for adoption by another person, maybe not. You're a great coord on MILHIST. Clikity (talk) 21:36, 19 October 2018 (UTC)

@Clikity: I hope we can work together in the future; apologies for the inactivity. Best of luck my friend! -- Iazyges Consermonor Opus meum 19:46, 31 October 2018 (UTC)

Biased Admin Donald Albury

I want to report Donald Albury, an administrator, who is clearly a Florida based PR agent. This admin continually and consistently edits I formation on behalf of 5W PR clients, specifically Roy Donahue Peebles and The Peebles Corporation, removing accurate, unbiased, and well-sourced information in favor of inaccurate, misleading, and untruthful (but positive) information. Donald Albury has even edited names, business information, and historically significant facts for misleading misrepresentations. See for example, Donald Albury's edits of Roy Donahur Peebles, Jr.'s name and business activities, including corporate names, developments, square footage, and financial information that is demonstrably and facial untrue. Note that all Donald Albury edits rely on the identical, unsourced language contained on The Peebles Corporation's website, and excludes numerous sources and news reports.

I refuse to believe any corporation named "Peebles" holds a lot of power. -- Iazyges Consermonor Opus meum 19:49, 31 October 2018 (UTC)

Fold3

Hello! I requested access, and was accepted, but I was unable to actually gain access to the full website. I was emailed with instructions to give account info (username); I did, and nothing has happened since. The Fold3 system indicates that I only have a Basic Free Membership account. We talked about this back in September and nothing has moved on it. I was approved for access back on 12 January 2018, yes January 2018. Can you help. Broichmore (talk) 08:24, 30 October 2018 (UTC)

@Broichmore: I've notified their coordinator; I had sent an email including your info, but it appears to have slipped through the cracks. Apologies. -- Iazyges Consermonor Opus meum 19:52, 31 October 2018 (UTC)

NPR Newsletter No.15 16 November 2018

Chart of the New Pages Patrol backlog for the past 6 months.

Hello Iazyges/Archives/2018,

Community Wishlist Survey – NPP needs you – Vote NOW
  • Community Wishlist Voting takes place 16 to 30 November for the Page Curation and New Pages Feed improvements, and other software requests. The NPP community is hoping for a good turnout in support of the requests to Santa for the tools we need. This is very important as we have been asking the Foundation for these upgrades for 4 years.
If this proposal does not make it into the top ten, it is likely that the tools will be given no support at all for the foreseeable future. So please put in a vote today.
We are counting on significant support not only from our own ranks, but from everyone who is concerned with maintaining a Wikipedia that is free of vandalism, promotion, flagrant financial exploitation and other pollution.
With all 650 reviewers voting for these urgently needed improvements, our requests would be unlikely to fail. See also The Signpost Special report: 'NPP: This could be heaven or this could be hell for new users – and for the reviewers', and if you are not sure what the wish list is all about, take a sneak peek at an article in this month's upcoming issue of The Signpost which unfortunately due to staff holidays and an impending US holiday will probably not be published until after voting has closed.
