I'm annoyed that everyone's leaving... I found the Dec recast weird in the end, Harry was a right fittie, Rosemary's 'return' was underwhelming for the leg that she is... I'm sick of recurring characters and I rather do think Susan Bower has driven my once favourite show somewhere weird... but they do love me with giving me a couple of weeks of Carmella sooonish... I'm annoyed that everytime someone leaves, people (mainly the DS forum members) blame Susan Bower. It's not her fault if they want to pursue over projects, she and the team have to work around that. The cast used to be smaller than it is now and the show started out with only twelve regulars (and like 3 houses). The Dec recast was necessary though as he was quite involved in the Paul storyline, but I'm not too bothered about him leaving. Well, Ringo has just kicked the bucket in Australia, so I don't think anyone else will be killed off out of the remaining departees. Look at the bottom of Paul's article for his attacker. She can't help it if her cast members are not that loyal these days... It's her fault for the state of the show. She's not that good of a producer, I think she's too old hat and has forgot what Neighbours became... Ric was a super producer and loved every minute of him, I'm only young really, but I watched it growing up and deffo remember everything to do with the Starks because I'd demand to watch it from the age I could talk... it wasn't too dramatic then, but it was good... I like what she has done with Chris, because to be practical there really isn't much giveway where these SL's are concerned i their Aussie timeslot, so that, like Lana, is ok. I d agree though, with DS memebers, it has become too teen centric without real substance... I want some bitch fights, like some good slaps... to be fair though, She got Lyn back and had a great fight with Rebecca last year.. but since... Anyway, I'm holding out for Carmella and Oliver... Ah yes, Channel Five are doing a lot of promotion for it. There's a countdown on the Holy Soap website. Episode 5995 was the one I had waited nearly two months to watch. In Australia, Ten squashed the credits, so I couldn't see the names of Chris' parents. I watched the episode on Five on Friday and they did the same thing!! Oh I'm glad they're doing a lot of promo for it. That's the one thing I like about Five it really promotes Neighbours whereas the BBC kinda just left the programme to it's own devices. They seemed to think they didn't need to promote it. I know it did well on their channel but if they'd promoted it it could've done so much better! Not Neighbours fault, that was the fault of the BBC 100%. It's annoying though when they squash the titles! I remember when I had to review for PerfectBlend when I was trying to credit characters I didn't know the actors name of I had to pause the TV and go up to the screen to make it out! Ten don't seem to promote it much in Australia either, perhaps that'll change when it switches to Eleven. Not sure if Olenski is coming back, I doubt it though. They have Karl and Doug now. I was thinking about removing her and Tim Collins from the current recurring characters list, since they haven't appeared for a long time (they can always be added back later). No I found it out by accident looking for something on Google today so I've now created a page called Hany Lee Choi and set it up as a redirect to Hany Lee, just in case someone thinks to create an article under her real name! After further investigation, it seems this anon IP is the same as an indef blocked editor who is seemingly obsessed with "reviving" Belle from the dead, and who operates from a fixed IP, so I've extended the block to three months. I just read the article and it looks great to me. The only minor 'problem' is with this sentence:

• "Watson is scheduled to shoot her scenes in just a few days to prevent her studies at Brown University being interrupted."

What does "in a just a few days" mean? Needs to include a specific date. The article is a huge improvement over this. :D The refs are great and the date format is correct since it's a British film. Oh yes, I had trouble with that sentence. I'll go re-word it, it's meant to say that Watson will only spend a few days on set to shoot her scenes, so her studies won't be interrupted. I managed to get a free image of Michelle Williams and Dougray Scott on set today, so I'll add that to the article too. All it really needs is a copyedit, citing some of the more "upper-level" background for the show, and some ref cleanup and it's ready for a trip. I was thinking about that list the other day. Do you think I'll need to provide refs for the exact dates the guests appeared? I was thinking of changing the full dates to years as most of the refs say the year. I'm not sure about going to FLC with it now, do you think it'll fail 3b? I'm sure someone will oppose because it could be added to the main article somehow. I'll tell you which article does need to go to AfD; List of births, marriages and deaths in Neighbours. I tried to PROD it, but it was turned down and I was told to "consider merge to parent article". I don't even fully understand that and I don't think it's possible anyway. I don't think it fails 3b, but of course I don't have much use for 3b, period. It seems to mean anything a reviewer wants it to mean. The births... list is the height of listcruft! That you couldn't get rid of that via PROD shocks me- then again the sheer numbers of articles on some fictional universes also stuns me. As to the celebrity one, there's no way it could be merged, just too long. If the dates aren't verifiable, then some reviewer is sure to catch it. Hello, we haven't spoke in a while, great work on the neighbours articles (List of Neighbours characters 2007 and so on), they look amazing. I totally missed this before amongst all the other threads. Thank you for the compliment about the Neighbours lists. :) Those types of lists would work for Home and Away. A 2010 list would take care of quite a few current characters. I think we'd need to sort out some of the other lists first. Some just need a clean up, others need to be deleted (like the list of H&A children). I was also wondering if any of the current cast, like Sid and Bianca, could have their own articles. Well, neither the official website or the Daily Star article say he's now a regular, so we shouldn't assume. Where did you read that a twelve month contract is given out to regular cast members? That's the thing, she didn't get married until this year so it would be Rebecca Napier that she's been known as the longest. Rebecca Robinson does get the most hits but then there's also a paegant holder of the same name, Rebecca Robinson so it might be picking up some hits for her. Sometimes I check them, but mostly ones like femalefirst, metro, daily mirror, Atv that have died in the past... usually, when theyre dead they don't archive for me, like when lowculture didn't work for Carmella's article, it gave me a heads up.. sorry though... just thought I was helping. Right, sorry for the late reply. I've been busy working on a few articles. At the moment all of the Timmins family articles are in desperate need of some more editing and references (though Rain was editing Janae, so that article maybe okay for now). I think we need to gather some sources (perhaps put them on the character's talk pages) and see if we can make anything of the articles. If not, I'm going to have to redirect them to the 2005/4 lists before someone puts them up for deletion. How are you today? I'm ok today, but have made my mind up I'm going to see about taking Stagecoach to court over an incident that happened on my bus on Halloween. I wrote to them a few weeks ago to complain but they've said they won't offer compensation and won't admit liability even though the incident happened when their driver was off the bus. However it looks as if I'm going to be permanently scarred as a result of the incident and on the way to the dentist today I passed one of those no win no fee places so made a note of their number, am going to call them tomorrow for advice. I was only working on Bianca, just needed to write up the sources. I might try and work on it this week if I find the time. I hope they weren't created for the sake of it, some people think that all regular characters should have seperate article or they just like getting the credit. List of past Home and Away characters probably needs a copy edit (or the entries turned into tables), Recurring characters of Home and Away could stay if it's brought up to the same standard as the Neighbours one, otherwise it should be merged with the past list, List of Home and Away characters should probably go via PROD, Current characters of Home and Away is becoming obsolete and List of Home and Away children needs to go to AfD so badly. I stumbled upon the archived pages when I was looking at Beth Hunter. I don't think you can archive an archive link, but I believe they are safe. Wayback Machine is just another internet archive site like Web Cite. Anyway, I'm going to create the 2010 and 2011 Home and Away lists today and tomorrow (do you want to do 2009 or shall I ask AcidBrights?) and I've got someone looking into Ruby (her article wasn't deleted, but redirected to a list instead). Miles Copeland, Liam Murphy, Morag Bellingham and possibly Elijah Johnson need their articles back/created (Elijah can go on the 2009 list though). If we can get all of that done, then Current characters of Home and Away will be obsolete and can be deleted or redirected and all of the main cast will have articles. Kind of a big task, but I think we can do it. Oh and Neighbours returned to Aussie screens today, so I've got articles to update there too. Lots of things to keep me busy! List of Neighbours characters (1985), it was created (probably just for the sake it), not finished and then abandoned. I've been working on it offline for months. I have the current departees archived, Donna, Zeke, Declan, Rebecca and departed characters like Harry and Ringo have their links in the articles already. I archive them when they announce a departure. I'll add Maria's refs now. I just copied what I had offline and I hadn't updated it since you added them. What about Myra De Groot's illness though? I did a google news search for the character and the actor and it turned up nothing, I got a lot of fansites, wiki mirrors and forums during a reguular search. Eileen isn't mentioned in the first 10 years book. I did look for info before I redirected her, I always look. The only thing I haven't added yet is a little characterisation info from the factfile book, which I'll do tomorrow. Urgh, the Langdon family, I need to work out their durations and storylines that's why I haven't added them. Anyway, I'm just glad it's all over. It has taken me months to get that sorted because one person can't be bothered to finish what they started. I'll go and have a read of Mark. :) There I've added it, I noticed she has a few TV soaps and the like for refs, it's allowed though. Anyway I left one quote out. Novakovic discusses her favourites scenes from the serial: "There was a lot of fun stuff to do with the storyline where Paul Robinson was pushed off the balcony at Lassiters, and Natasha, Andrew and Summer went on all these adventures afterwards. Being on location with your friends and running around is always fun to film." ... I wasn't sure where to put it. I haven't been working on Mark's article online, so you'll have read his list entry instead. I'm quite proud that I managed to get some reception info for him. I'll have a look at Natasha tomorrow/later today and see if I can something with the development section. I don't really want to lose the relationships heading as the info on her (brief) relationship with Kyle will be too small for its own section. I'll look at Sonya in a minute, but I don't think she has enough sources and info to be split yet. She's only just starting to get a big storyline of her own and there's hardly any casting and reception info around. It's in the neighbours chat, all of the NF Staff posted and slated us, said it wasn't reliable and their episode archive is better for finding stuff out. I just replied to that comment. Neighbours wasn't terrible last year, I made sure of that. They weren't great in 2009 though. I haven't noticed about the DS thing. They now have Holy Soap to steal articles off of though. I keep hoping they'll put up somthing original soon, like an interview or something. DS only do Aussie soap interviews when the cast are in the UK becauase they interview in the day over phone. I might suggest to Daniel actually, because he loves the Aussie soaps and was the reporter soley for a while. (The good thing about him, unlike Kris Green he actually will talk over PM's.) ... It's up to you if you want to take it to GAN, lol. If the link has gone, then you'll have to remove it or try and replace it. There might be new info to add when she returns on 14 March though. I wasn't sure if it's up to standard that's all, my grammar is so terrible. Good about Chris though. A good reviewer will point out the things that need correcting or you could asks a copy editor to have a look. Mark, Kyle and Jade will become regulars in March. Production only began on 24 January, so there was going to be a three month wait. I think Carmella and Oliver are only coming back for one or two eps. They filmed their scenes in the last two weeks of production in 2010, but I don't think it took two weeks. They may have filmed during one week and then returned the next. Poor Marilyn, Aisla and Alf then! You'd think there would have been more info on them. Nevermind. Sorry, yes I got your email. It was an interesting read. Bridget and Ned are all archived. Miranda and Steve have a lot of the same refs as Bridget, so they should be okay. I haven't done Nicola or Riley though. Last night I spent two hours going through a bunch of 2004 Neighbours TV Week clippings that I got from eBay a while ago. I managed to mix them all up as soon as I got them, so I needed to put them back in order. I've used the Nina ones already, but I have some for Jack, Connor, Michelle, Lori, Izzy, Sindi and Steph. Hey, I was just hoping to ask you about a Home and Away article i'm creating. I'm creating Dexter Walker's article in my user space and I was just wondering, Dexter is credited as "Dex Walker" so in the article name and throughout the article should he be known as "Dex" just as Jacqui McQueen's real name is jacqueline but shes credited as jacqui, same with Abi Branning, her real names Abigail.
