South African Wikimedia Chapter update and mailing list
Hi there. Local Wikipedians have set up a mailing list where we will be discussing the formation of a local Wikimedia Chapter in South Africa. Please join the mailing list at this url https://lists.wikimedia.org/mailman/listinfo/wikimediaza. There is also a page set up on Meta where you can add your name if you're interested to take this idea forward. Check out http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Wikimedia_South_Africa. Photo request
Are you in proximity to OR Tambo Airport? South African Airways needs a photo of its head office. This Google Maps View shows where the building is and what it looks like. Would you mind photographing the building? Thank you WhisperToMe (talk) 12:24, 25 June 2010 (UTC)

RE: Translation of Die Suid-Afrikaan's story on the Purple Rain Protest
Thanks for the late translation, I guess online translation is a generational thing? You now have the credit for being the first to actually translate the piece into English. Well done, and good luck. We need more anarchists on wikipedia.Ethnopunk (talk) 13:30, 13 August 2010 (UTC)
Minor notification
Just letting you know that I swapped out a crucifix for an icon symbolizing the three monotheisms in your "separation of Church and state" userboxes. In the previous form, they could well have become subject to allegations that they were anti-Christian and therefore were at risk of being tagged for deletion. -RadicalOne•Contact Me•Chase My Tail 23:30, 18 September 2010 (UTC)

Thanks for linking my "adverb" userbox
As you say yourself in your header that we wouldn't get along (actually, religious people tend to examine their lives and question their beliefs a great deal), it is good that there are some things that can unite even people who think most different. :-) Mzk1 (talk) 19:15, 6 April 2011 (UTC)
Template:University of the Witwatersrand
After your edits "Template:University of the Witwatersrand" is pointing to a disambiguation page for "Transvaal University College". It is unclear to me what you want with that link. Can you correct this link so that it points to the article you want it to point at? Thanks in advance.

Center of lateral resistance
I needed the definition to link to from another article. It is an important concept for sailboats. I could not believe it was not on wikipedia. I have added additional material. I believe the material meets the criterion of encyclopedia per the link you sent me to, — Preceding unsigned comment added by Skimaniac (talk • contribs) 02:51, 5 January 2012 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification
Hi. When you recently edited Colin Bundy, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page David Watson (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
