Batman (The Dark Knight Trilogy)

A tag has been placed on

section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://www.gradesaver.com/batman-begins/wikipedia/cast. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing
.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by

visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Wikipedia and copyright

Control copyright icon Hello Mishi dar, and welcome to Wikipedia. Your additions to

suitably-free and compatible copyright license. (To request such a release, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission.) While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from sources to avoid copyright and plagiarism
issues.

It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. CAPTAIN RAJU(T) 16:42, 17 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Image Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:MystiqueAnimated.jpg.

This image is a derivative work, containing an "image within an image". Examples of such images would include a photograph of a sculpture, a scan of a magazine cover, or a screenshot of a computer game or movie. In each of these cases, the rights of the creator of the original image must be considered, as well as those of the creator of the derivative work.

While the description page states who made this derivative work, it currently doesn't specify who created the original work, so the overall copyright status is unclear. If you did not create the original work contained within this image, you will need to specify

  1. the creator of the original work
  2. the copyright status of the original work, usually indicated by adding a licensing tag. If you believe the media meets the criteria at
    Wikipedia:Image copyright tags

If you have uploaded other derivative works, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in

Thanks for uploading File:Tobey Maguire as Peter Parker and Spider-Man.jpg.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at
    Wikipedia:Image copyright tags
for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other derivative works, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in

48 hours after 04:32, 24 July 2019 (UTC). If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. — JJMC89(T·C) 04:32, 24 July 2019 (UTC)[reply

File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:VikiVale2.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status and its source. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously.

If you did not create this work entirely yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. You will also need to state under what licensing terms it was released. Please refer to the

Please add this information by editing the image description page. If the necessary information is not added within the next seven days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Replaceable fair use File:Becky RWC.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:Becky RWC.jpg. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of fair use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of fair use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to
    Di-replaceable fair use disputed
    |<your reason>}} below the original replaceable fair use template, replacing <your reason> with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable.
  2. On the file discussion page, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Whpq (talk) 19:14, 4 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Pleased remember to start a new section next time you communicate on someone's talk page. And no I am not being strict, you have been breaking rules before violating

WP:RS, as wikipedia editor you must cite only reliable sources. Regarding professional wrestling articles kindly consider following the policy mentioned here: Wikipedia:WikiProject Professional wrestling/Sources as you previously cited wrestlinginc.com which has been listed unreliable, unreliable sourced information will be removed. The twitter source has been allowed as its from PWI's official twitter account, however twitter account isn't the official page of PWI [1], and it is better to cite sources from their official website rather than their Twitter account, but to avoid confusion in future please cite sources listed as being reliable on Wikipedia:WikiProject Professional wrestling/Sources. Adding Pictures

On the article List of Pro Wrestling Illustrated awards only photos of record winners of the award categories are given. Gender has no impact there. You added the photo of Becky Lynch on the "Most Popular Wrestler of the Year" despite the fact she has only won the award once, thus your edit has been reverted. We do not add pictures just because a woman won the category, only add pictures of record holders, the ones who won the category the most time. We do not even include the picture of the first winner ever of the award Jack Brisco/Fred Curry. This was discussed long before that only pictures of record holders will be included. Feel free too add back Becky Lynch's photo only after she wins the award four or more times like Sting and John Cena. Dilbaggg (talk) 07:24, 20 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Fails

WP:NFCC
8. This depiction is used for a bullet point at the end of the article, linking to another article where the depiction would be more appropriate (the film). Fails NFCC 3a. There are several images of the figure in slightly different illustration styles/live action; one at most is needed.

deleted for any of several reasons
.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Replaceable fair use File:BatmanAdamWestFull.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:BatmanAdamWestFull.jpg.

Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification, per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Whpq (talk) 22:45, 18 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
