Oh Yeon-seo

My edit was not unconstructive. Oh Yeon-seo received a new acting award on 1 October 2014, which I added. Source: [1] 103.14.60.153 (talk) 01:48, 2 October 2014 (UTC)

It was unconstructive in the fact that it was not formatted properly, causing issues with the page loading and being able to be read.Onel5969 (talk) 01:58, 2 October 2014 (UTC)

The truth

Thanks for your edit. I hope I can trust this article. It's a shock when discovered the truth about our history. I was afraid of some vandalisms in this article so I edited a little and wait to see what'll happen.

Again, thank you. I really appreciate.

Ron Reagan "not afraid to burn in hell" edit

Hello, One15969

You mentioned that the Ron Reagan article sounds better the way it was. The reason I made the change was because I am watching the FFRF commercial where he says "Not afraid to burn in hell", so I'd argue that the article is less accurate than it would be with my verbatim addition.

- MoChaMan69 — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mochaman69 (talkcontribs) 14:21, 2 October 2014 (UTC)

  • @Mochaman69: - Hi! Three things, first, you left no edit summary, so it was unclear as to why you were making that change; second, that portion of the sentence is not part of the quote, so changing it makes it no more nor less accurate; third, if you wanted to change it, put the whole quote, and then provide a verifiable citation. By that last, the fact that you are watching the commercial, and then quoting it is Original Research, which WP does not allow. If the text of the commercial is quoted somewhere, and you can provide the citation, and you feel (as you appear to do) that it would improve the article, then by all means go for it.Onel5969 (talk) 14:34, 2 October 2014 (UTC)

  • @KimRob12: - Hi! Well, first of all, if you are Roberto Alomar, you should not be making any additions to your wikipage, as that constitutes Original Research, which is one of the three things not allowed on Wikipedia. Second, the information was unsourced. And third, you inserted then information in a completely inappropriate section of the article. Milton Friedman

The criticism section is nothing more than disinformation. Wikipedia should provide an unbiased views towards individuals that are targets of political attacks. The information that was deleted would have no credibility in any self respected educational journal or source and that is why the disinformation was removed. I understand that you are trying to do your job but to allow for such biased information on wikipedia illustrates that the site is a very poor excuse for a encyclopedia.

Re. Fred Elliott

Hi.

I am not sure why you think my edit was not constructive. There are other infoboxes in which bigamous marriages are listed with ‘void’ in parentheses.

I personally don't think void marriages should be listed in the infoboxes at all (after all, Eve Sykes was no more Fred's wife than Hilda Ogden was), but if they are to be listed at all, it makes absolute sense for ‘void’ to be included. An encyclopaedia is meant to disseminate information, surely?

Slater Mill

Hello,

I was the one who recently edited the Slater Mill Historic Site page. I am the current Development Director here at Slater Mill. I have no real Wikipedia editing experience, so forgive me. The information I removed is now out dated and incorrect. If you did not like the wording of the other information, feel free to reword it. I took it directly off our website. But we no longer host either Community Guild Studios or the Labor and Ethnic Heritage Festival. I would at least like that information removed if it cannot be replaced. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.87.96.209 (talk) 15:28, 3 October 2014 (UTC)

Cool. Thanks for explaining. When you make changes, you can give a quick explanation in the "Edit Summary" box under the field where you make your changes. For example, in this instance, you might have put simply, "no longer hosts either Community Guild Studios or the Labor and Ethnic Heritage Festival - as per website". Mike Krzyzewski Edit

Hi, I strongly disagree with you that noting Mike Krzyzewski's parents are immigrants is "unnecessary." Quite the contrary, his immigrant background is crucial to his narrative as an American. As the coach of the US Nation Basketball team, Mike truly represents the American Dream. As a native of Teaneck, I would expect you to be able to acknowledge the importance of this... Eyedea

I can confirm, as a long time Eyedea fan, that Eyedea was NEVER a part of Atmosphere. He toured with, and supported them, a long time ago, but he was never a member of Atmosphere. He was close friends with Slug up until his death. As a result, I think the edit I made was correct. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 95.44.128.126 (talk) 20:28, 3 October 2014 (UTC)

Hi! - He's listed as a touring member of their group from 1998-2002. Perhaps rather than simply deleting it, you could improve the article with information along those lines.Onel5969 (talk) 20:34, 3 October 2014 (UTC)

I'm sorry, but I still believe that's inaccurate. I mean if we were to list the members of bands just by people they tour with, the band members would be huge. The next month or so alone, would add B. Dolan and Loyle Carner to the members of Atmosphere, because they toured with them in 2014? I still don't believe that's accurate. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 95.44.128.126 (talk) 20:42, 3 October 2014 (UTC) Sorry, I didn't back this point up well enough. DJ Abilities is also considered as a touring member of Atmosphere, yes? Eyedea + Abilities might have toured with Atmosphere, and done so for quite some time it seems, but they weren't actually members of the group itself, they're a seperate group altogether. I didn't really clarify that well enough, but I stand by what I said and still think that my statement stands.

I understand your persepective. I'll revert my revert.Onel5969 (talk) 20:51, 3 October 2014 (UTC)

Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Thefederalist.com

Onel5969, that was a lousy reason for reverting me. That there's more personal attacks than this one is the worst possible reason for reinstating it. In addition, the AfD was already closed. Thank you. Drmies (talk) 00:21, 4 October 2014 (UTC)

@Drmies: - sorry you feel that treating folks equally is lousy. Try to have a good day with that outlook.Onel5969 (talk) 00:42, 4 October 2014 (UTC)

  • So you concede that you disruptively (after closure) reinstated personal attacks, and that you recognized a whole bunch of others but did nothing about it. I accept not just your realization of your mistake, but also your apology. Drmies (talk) 00:46, 4 October 2014 (UTC)
No. I agree that you made changes after closure, which I corrected. Your bias notwithstanding. I also do apologize that you feel that treating people equally is lousy. That is a sad way to live your life. Now, might I suggest, politely, that you stop your personal attacks against me? I'll admit that I did not see that the discussion was closed, due to the extra activity by several editors, you included, which made no mention of the article being closed. If you had simply reverted the other editor's comment due to the discussion being closed, that would be a different matter. But you chose not to. Again, try to have a nice day.Onel5969 (talk) 00:54, 4 October 2014 (UTC)
  • I'm sorry--perhaps I didn't mention that it was a clear-cut personal attack that I removed. We have a tendency to remove those, and administrators can, if needs be, block editors for making them. But you have fascinating logic. First you said I couldn't remove a personal attack since there were other personal attacks. Then you say you reverted me because you thought my revert was done post-closure; well, you could have said that in your edit summary. But you didn't. Don't worry; I'm not going to stay up for your third reason. Drmies (talk) 01:15, 4 October 2014 (UTC)
  • Not exactly accurate. Both times I said I originally reverted you because you didn't treat all editors equally. Period. There were other personal attacks you chose to overlook or ignore. And I have no idea which side of the issue you were on, only your action, which was clearly biased. Never said I reverted you because it was post-closure. I did agree that my revert was post-closure, but said I didn't realize it was post-closure, due to all the other activity post-closure (including yours), which would seem to show the lie to your above post. Don't worry... I'm not going to listen to your next absurd excuse (since you have no reasons). Any further posts by you to my talk page will simply be deleted. I attempted to get you to be civil, you simply refuse.Onel5969 (talk) 01:21, 4 October 2014 (UTC)

Marstons Mills

You have rejected my correction of Marstons Mills. The village was NOT founded by the Marstons but by the Goodspeeds. I am a historian of the village, PhD,co-author of the only book on the subject (Images of America 2013). Perhaps your problem is the explanation of the origin of the name. The village was founded by Roger Goodspeed, one of whose descendants married Benjamin Marston who improved and expanded the fulling mill, and whose family also carried on the industry until the nineteenth century.

Elisabeth Harnois change

The older version of the article incorrectly stated that there was a single appearance on "All My Children". There were actually 4 appearances several months apart. The mention of the episode number indicates that this is sourced from the extremely sparse listings of actors in the over 10,000 episodes of All My Children. Most episodes have no cast list at all and there is often a gap of 1 to 2 weeks between episode listings for this daily show. This can be confirmed by seeing the listing for Susan Lucci, who has been in over 10,000 episodes of All My Children, but her IMDB listing shows her as appearing in 952 episodes, less than 10 % of the actual number.

Commentary about the 2 appearance in Dec 2000 https://groups.google.com/forum/#!searchin/rec.arts.tv.soaps.abc/bianca$20sarah/rec.arts.tv.soaps.abc/6RotWRuJ51s/4xz2_9ZmchYJ

Commentary about the 2 appearances in Feb 2001 https://groups.google.com/forum/#!searchin/rec.arts.tv.soaps.abc/bianca$20sarah/rec.arts.tv.soaps.abc/zqRGriGVRhE/hJRqwcdzrgAJ

Many people appear on a single episode of a soap opera. It is significant that an actor is brought back for another appearance at a later time.

A better listing might be to say "4 episodes" and have the episode number in the footnotes. Alternately, just say "4 episode" in the same manner that other entries just have an episode count.

IMDB is a very bad source for totals for shows that were daily for many years. It is unlikely that they will ever be even 50 % complete.

As you last edited Michael's page maybe you can help. I have corrected wrong info on the page before with no hassle, but recent attempts to add innocuous words about his library and hobbies were quickly deleted by another user who left a message saying I had to provide citations. I didn't do this on previous edits, indeed couldn't as the info was gleaned from personal conversation with Sir M, but nobody asked for any. But the innocent few words I tried to add lately are well known to be true as the facts are in Mel Gussow/Michael Gambon a life in acting. Thanks again and some info

Hello O. I know I pinged you a thanks but I want to add a full thanks here on your talk page for fixing the refs that I added. I just noticed that you added a whole batch of cn tags in Michael Gambon#Film.2C television and radio as to MG's appearances in various films etc. The general rule is if there is any article for the film and if he is shown as being in the film we don't require an official reference for that. An editor could add a link to a BFI filmography over and over again but that would just be redundant. Usually those are just added as EL's. I am not saying that you did anything wrong and you are perfectly free to leave the tags if you wish. This is mostly food for thought as you proceed with your editing. Cheers and enjoy the rest of your week. MarnetteD|Talk 02:22, 7 October 2014 (UTC)

WP:TRIVIA is a good place to start. On Wikipedia, edits are reached by consensus, for the most part. One of those consensus decisions is that a good parameter for inclusion on lists was whether or not a person, organization etc. had their own wiki article. If they did, that was a pretty good indication that they were notable. I hope this explains it well enough. Onel5969 (talk

Catullus Edit of "Musical Settings"

Hello,

I am writing because I don't quite understand why the most recent setting of Catullus' poetry has been removed from his page. This setting is a major release which premiered at Carnegie Hall and has had reviews in the US and Europe. Why would that knowledge not benefit the Catullus article when it comes to "Musical Interpretations"?

If it is something I can change such as a style issue, please let me know. I can rewrite the addition easily.

Yeah I see no issue with your edit note, if he knows how to read them. Four minutes later O reverted using STiki and left a message on User talk:Aldershort which got truncated for some reason. I do not know how Stiki works so I can't tell why this happened. Then 10 minutes later A (see Special:Contributions/Aldershort) copied O's user page. I would AGF that this is just a messing around situation. OTOH A's next edit was also unsourced. The AGF starts to slip a bit since the name added to the AC roster is Matthew Norman who never played for them or any other team for that matter. In any event I agree with Mcmatter O that your removal of the cut and paste was appropriate. Cheers to you both. MarnetteD|Talk 16:28, 9 October 2014 (UTC)

Kavin

Onel5969 - I would like to contribute to this topic 'Kavin'. My mother tongue is tamil and I have a deep understanding of this word/name. Kavin is a Tamil(language) word and not a Sanskrit(language) word. So, I would like to edit this page with the following content.

"Kavin (/k??v?n/)(Tamil. ?????) is a Tamil given name for boys. It is similar to the Irish name Kevin. Both Kavin and Kevin mean "handsome". Kavin in Tamil means Beauty/ grace/ fairness/ comeliness. Kavin has been referenced in Sangam literature <hyperlink to wiki page Sangam literature> (Ainkurunuru <hyperlink to wiki page Ainkurunuru>). ????????? ?????????? (???????. 94).

Please help me updating the content of this page.

Edit rejection

Hello,

I just received the alert regarding my edit that it was rejected. It's alright. I just wanted to add the views of people who visited it. I myself being a resident of Chandigarh, clearly know about it. I will try next time to edit the things which would make the article better. I am new to Wikipedia and don't know how to insert images in an article and how to create a new article itself. I searched a lot but did not get it.

I would be thankful for you! Waiting for your reply.

edits on stirling cycle applications

I do not appreciate you undoing the edits I applied to "applications of the Stirling engine". Why did you think the article was better before the edits? It really seems like a drive by change on your part to raise your edit count......

I am researching closed cycle aviation engines and came across R. McConaghy's CCE after a long time. It is not a well known flight. It is published in respected conference proceedings, my article was properly cited, and the achievement of flying a stirling engine is a very significant one no matter the scale.

The presence of this information on the wiki page for stirling applications will be beneficial for other aerospace engineers looking into the subject. Material on this flight is hard to find. — Preceding unsigned comment added by OSUaeronerd (talkcontribs) 03:26, 14 October 2014 (UTC)

Thanks again for your feedback on the previous edit. I wanted to provide some clarity to help improve the accuracy of the page with regards to this number. As the page stands now, it says that we have 84,000 employees, which is inaccurate. We currently have more than 29,000 employees and 53,000 agents under contract, which is an important distinction. Perhaps, for clarity, it would be better to list them separately in both the infobox and the body text?
My understanding is that primary sources are sufficient for simple facts, especially ones that may need to be timely in order to be accurate, so I’m providing a link to the Company Overview on the Manulife website. Given this information, would you agree that an update to the numbers, as currently posted, is in order? Thanks again for taking the time to engage with me on this! Thanks for re-inserting part of my contribution. However, I have now also added my other changes, as these are per Wikipedia rules for film articles: Distributor and release date should be those in the originating country if available, UK articles should have UK date format, and runtime should be the original theatrical length if available - and BBFC is regarded the most correct one for UK films, as their lengths are the lengths noted down when the films were reviewed by the censors. You had also not re-inserted the external links, so I did that as well. Best regards, Thomas Blomberg (talk) 16:52, 18 October 2014 (UTC)

Hi onel5969, while I understand your reasoning it does not change the fact you reverted the population to an estimate of the population in 2007 which has neither source, nor reference. My figure was properly sourced and can easily be verified by a quick search on the internet. the 2007 estimate you reverted to cant. I will edit again with a reference to my source. Please don't undo!

The 2007 estimate cant. as to the historical name of Tonbridge. It was only known as Tunbridge from the 17th century onwards. The town had in fact been in existence for at least five hndred years prior to this where it was known as Tonebrigge. So Tunbridge is not in fact the historical name for the town, it is in fact just one of the several spellings the town has had. Surely the historical spelling should refer to the earliest not a "mid term" version of the spelling. There is also an argument that could be used in that it was known as Tonebrigge for longer than it was known as Tunbridge.

I in fact in the past largely wrote the Tonbridge article. I forgot what password I used so had to create a new account so am not editing merely for the fun of it.

I intend to bring other parts upto date again please do not undo "willy nilly" because you feel like it, it is not your Town after all. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ekctafc (talkcontribs) 13:13, 19 October 2014 (UTC)

I was in the first class to go to Nova. I didn't take an entrance exam, nor did anyone with whom I went to the school. On what basis did you learn that the early classes needed to test in? Cadge

Are you able to replace the word "cadge" though? I meant what I said: whoever thought it was a good idea to use that word is not using wikipedia in the spirit of which it is meant to be used. The word excludes a large number of people at the cost of one individual fuckwit feeling good about himself. I bet that guy says "utilized" instead of "used" too.

This is not just concerning that one word. It concerns a huge portion of wiki editors who basically sit at home stroking their vocabulary-penis without realizing that the way they use language is cumbersome and straight up inferior to the way the average, or in many cases, below average user of language communicates.

Hi! lol. I agree with you, and that type of behavior is contrary to the guidelines which have been reached by consensus of many editors. I'll take a look at the article, and edit it to make it more human sounding.Onel5969 (talk) 13:55, 19 October 2014 (UTC)

Something serious has to be done now

I don't know but I feel that it's crossing the limit some editor is constantly making the same edits to Bade Achhe Lagte Hain. And now this is extremely annoying even I feel strange that even after so many removals the editor is not at all tired of adding the same info. Is it a bot? It can't be! But this is too strange. I feel something has to be done because if we allow these edits it won't help the article. Last time when they were allowed there was more than one name for each character making the section too ambiguous and confusing. Thus they removed and only the first name for few characters were added. Actually such big names were never mentioned in the entire soap opera. They have actually been inferred. The article cannot be protected indefinitely. It would be wrong to do so but something should be done. Well I won't coax you. This is what I feel. What do you think Onel? Tamravidhir (talk!) 15:55, 22 October 2014 (UTC)

@Tamravidhir: - Hi! I've requested page protection. Hopefully the disruptive editor will get bored and go away. But I wouldn't count on it. This seems to happen quite frequently with entertainment pages dealing with Indian subjects. There are two other pages which I have to revert at least once a week. Unfortunately, in the way Wikipedia works, that's simply how the game is played. You'll keep an eye on the page, I'll keep an eye on the page, I think there are one or two other editors who are also doing so. Just keep working on the article, and try not to get so upset at their disruptive editing.Onel5969 (talk) 17:57, 22 October 2014 (UTC)

Desomorphine change

I appreciate your opinion, and I realize my fix was a bit sloppy stylistically, but it was done because the way it had been written was incorrect. It claims that "...[desomorhine] has been a Schedule 1 controlled substance since 1936." But, since there were no "Schedule 1" controlled substances until the Controlled Substance Act of 1970, that's highly unlikely. Desomorphine is a Schedule 1 substance now, surely. It was a controlled substance in 1936, agreed. But the fact that it was subject to regulation under the 1914 Harrison Narcotics Tax Act, or ye olde 1906 Pure Food and Drug Act, or any other law that existed in 1936, is pretty different from it being a Schedule 1 controlled substance 34 years before "Schedule 1" was something that existed in US law.

I wont resubmit my edit, so if you have a better fix, I'd be happy to see the confusion clarified.

Or maybe I'm confused about Federal drug control laws and such, in which case I'm always happy to learn something new.

I appreciate your consideration. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 50.161.229.51 (talk) 23:17, 22 October 2014 (UTC)

@Ruhanga Jacob: - Hi! And welcome to Wikipedia. There are no "eligibility" requirements for barnstars. They can be given by any editor to any other editor at any time. Editors use them as a way to recognize contributions of other editors that they deem noteworthy. Sometimes they are given for a single event (like editing done on a particular article); other times they are given to show appreciation for an ongoing effort (like patrolling for vandalism in articles); sometimes they are given for showing good "wiki citizenship" (like mediating an editing dispute, or simply working politely with another editor with whom you have a dispute). Regardless of the reason, the more you edit, and the quality of those edits, usually will result in recognition by other editors. I hope this answers your question. MOS:Film#Critical response says is, "The general "All Critics" score is more widely reported than the "Top Critics" score, and is the statistic for which Rotten Tomatoes is generally notable." Notice it is the score which should be used. Further, it also states, "review aggregation websites such as Rotten Tomatoes or Metacritic are citable for statistics pertaining to the ratio of positive to negative reviews." This would indicate that the consensus quotes should NOT be used. The only reference it makes to using quotes is NOT to use "user" quotes. Hi Flyer... I'm surprised that someone who is a "usual WP:Film editor" would not understand what is written on the MOS page. You completely ignored the above quotes. The MOS page is pretty clear. And sorry if you feel that just because you "are telling me" something is correct, I should ignore the MOS guidelines. Onel5969 (talk) 18:55, 23 October 2014 (UTC)
Flyer22
is correct: FilmProject editors have had numerous discussions across multiple film articles regarding neutrality in the "Critical reception" section, and two of the standard elements to avoid contentiousness or POV interpretation is to use the RT stat and consensus published there, and the Metacritic stat and the label MC gives that stat. That MOS:FILM neither demands nor prohibits the RT consensus is of no import: RT can quoted as a Reliable Source.
I'm not sure why this should be controversial: Having a neutral, reputable, third-party consensus has saved us from a lot of arguments. It's become a standard practice, and for good reason. --Tenebrae (talk) 19:39, 23 October 2014 (UTC)

Hello. Perhaps you can shed some light on how exactly a list like this should be formatted please? Then I can work on getting it right. Hi! No problem. It was the use of bold/italics, etc., and lack of wikilinks. I've begun the section, showing what a section might look like. There is no single way that is the ONLY way, this is the simplest way (and a mirror of the page you use as an example above). Keep in mind that to be included on a list like this, a person usually has to have their own Wikipedia article. Hope this helps. Onel5969 (talk) 00:57, 24 October 2014 (UTC)

I'll pass this along to an administrator. But I'll need to know which article you're speaking about, so I can figure out the user name. Onel5969 (talk) 13:34, 25 October 2014 (UTC)

Atlantic hurricane retirement

Could you please elaborate how you came to that conclusion that it was better prior to edit? I was merely revising the data to correspond to the figures shown on the hurricanes articles --72.87.101.91 (talk) 03:16, 27 October 2014 (UTC)

Recent edit to List of Californication episodes

Hello, I am writing to you in regard to the sequence of edits we made in the introduction to List of Californication episodes (ex-wife -> ex-partner -> ex-wife). I agree that the term "ex-wife" sounds better; however, it is inaccurate, because the character has never been married. Perhaps we could change it to "ex-girlfriend", "ex-lover", simply "ex", or restructure the sentence (e.g. "his relationship with his daughter and her mother"). What do you think? @
WP:Stiki, I always AGF. But when edits are made without explanation, I attempt to put it in context of the other information on the page. Knowing your explanation above, I would not have reverted, feel free to put it back (although personally, I prefer "ex-girlfiend" or "ex-lover", but that's simply a personal opinion). Happy editing!Onel5969 (talk

City , State in infobox

Re: this edit, can you give me a link to the exact part of the city project guidelines? I'd like to cite it when reverting User:50.98.156.21's continued removal of state names from the titles of infoboxes. Thanks. - BilCat (talk) 04:06, 28 October 2014 (UTC)

@
WP:USCITIES. There is the sample infobox clearly marked at the top with "CITY, STATE". Hope this helps. But remember they are just guidelines. Some cities have editors who are very protective, and they may have reached a consensus not to include the state. I'm slowly going through the 100 most populous and standardizing. Onel5969 (talk

OK, thanks. Most of the ones I reverted had the city/state format for some time. - BilCat (talk) 12:17, 28 October 2014 (UTC)

Changing all the infoboxes on popes, do not need to include 'Pope' prefix

Hi,

I am the last editor of that article. :D (Pope Leo III)

I am currently in the process of editing all article relating to popes, and clergy who had an involvement with popes, (eg. Cardinals), of removing all of the prefix 'Pope' from their infoboxes.

I have already editied popes from Pope Francis, all the way down to the popes of the 11th century

I am doing this because,

1. A regnal name, without the unecessary prefix of 'Pope' is self-exlpanatory that person with a regnal name is a pope, in the infobox, the prefix, pope must obviously be used in the main text.

2. The term pope was not used by St.Peter when he was made the 'Bishop of Rome', the term pope was used by Pope St. Siricus 3 century later, and,

if I was pope myself, I would have the authority to change my office name of pope, to whatever I desire, such as 'President of the Catholic Church' or 'Governor of the Catholic Church' (I probably wont do that anyway). — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sverceluz (talkcontribs) 12:45, 28 October 2014 (UTC)

Clocental

Yes a slight technical hitch. The patent that Dan Lednicer supplied me for this compound in his first book appears to be erroneous. I have contacted him on facebook to inform him of this. I don't know what the correct patent information is. I don't have

Scifinder scholar or chemical abstracts etc or athens password. That means I would not be able to search it for myself.--Luklear (talk

Please contact me if further reversions are need on the

WP:3RR barrier. I can assist, if it gets to that point to continue reverting (to a point), and report the IP editor to the appropriate noticeboard if need be.--RightCowLeftCoast (talk

@RightCowLeftCoast: - Thanks for that. I'm pretty good about the 3RR rule, I've only gone over it once since I learned about it (and that was by mistake). They've taken it to the talk page, thankfully, which is what should be done, and seem to be leaving the article alone until consensus is reached. We'll see. But I will keep your offer in mind if it becomes an issue.Onel5969 (talk) 21:51, 29 October 2014 (UTC)

Winnfield, Louisiana

I am Rev. Betty Walker, daughter of Lt. Col. William S. Walker. His rank at retirement from the United States Army was Lieutenant Colonel. I have the documentation in my possession. Please leave the citation as "Lieutenant Colonel," "Lt. Colonel" or "Lt. Col." "Major" was not his highest rank and, therefore, inaccurate. I appreciate your assistance. Bdoubleu77 (talk) 12:58, 30 October 2014 (UTC)

Bdoubleu77 - Hi! I didn't revert because I disagreed with your edit, but because the edit was formatted improperly. I see the change as now been made with the proper format. Fantastic! Happy editing! Onel5969 (talk) 13:57, 30 October 2014 (UTC)
