16:48:14, 11 October 2016 review of submission by Gaffen

Hey, I am requesting a review after a comprehensive review of the language used in the article and ensuring that as many citations as possible have been used both to inform notability and to verify from a range of neutral sources. Please let me know if you require further action and I will gladly look into this. I am also looking into getting some better quality sources (I am aware that the twitter source is especially weak!), and into getting some CC licensed images of work to upload to wikimedia. Gaffen (talk) 16:48, 11 October 2016 (UTC)

Do you know anything about these?

Hello O. I hope that you are well. I know you aren't editing as much as you used but a question has come up that you might be able to help with. It is in regards to August Wilson's 10 play cycle. This is the section that is currently in WikiP's article August Wilson#The Pittsburgh Cycle. This is the statement on my talk page User talk:MarnetteD#Pittsburgh Cycle August Wilson that sent me to find sourcing for the various names that have been used to label the cycle. This is the post that I have made on the talk page for AW's article Talk:August Wilson#The 10 play cycle. If you have any knowledge about the history of these names I would appreciate anything that you can add/remove/change to the article. If not no worries. I hope that you are having a pleasant autumn! Best regards. MarnetteD|Talk 19:56, 21 October 2016 (UTC)

  • Hi MarnetteD - will respond on the thread on your talk page. That way all the discussion will be together. Onel5969 TT me 23:09, 21 October 2016 (UTC)
Thank you O. I think it would be useful to add your post (and my reply to it) to the thread on Wilson's talk page that I started. I did not want to do that without asking you first. I hope you got to see the American Masters episode about him. If not it looks like it might be available on the web somewhere. I really appreciate the time you took in looking into this. Cheers. I have no issue with that. And you don't have to ask my permission, you're one of the good guys. . I'm only semi-retired. Onel5969 TT me 22:15, 22 October 2016 (UTC)
Thanks so much. I am glad you still pop round from time to time and I am always happy when I see your name on my watchlist. Enjoy the week ahead :-) MarnetteD|Talk 23:00, 22 October 2016 (UTC)

The Exorcist (franchise)

Hi, thanks for your review of "The Exorcist (franchise)" page, I was wondering would you have any advice on how to made it seem less like a personal opinion piece? As it stands none of the text in it is original, it's all from the various pages it links to. I was going for something like this: National Treasure (franchise) Damiantgordon (talk) 12:16, 29 October 2016 (UTC)

Hi Damiantgordon - I think it's an excellent start. You simply need to provide references for any qualitative statements. e.g. when you talk about criticism, or the film being re-edited, provide a source. The article itself is well written, just needs sourcing. Good luck! Onel5969 TT me 12:19, 29 October 2016 (UTC)
Thank you for your help. you're a gent! Damiantgordon (talk) 12:23, 29 October 2016 (UTC)
