Hello, Raindrop73. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started,
- edit the page
- remove the text that looks like this:

- save the page
Also, be sure to explain why you think the article should be kept in your edit summary or on the article's talk page. If you don't do so, it may be deleted later anyway.

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Central Columbia School District may have broken the syntax by modifying 2 "{}"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

Use of "costly" with athletic programs
This is an issue I would like Raindrop73 to address. It appears that they have been inserting "costly" to the mention of athletic programs at high schools around the state of Pennsylvania.
Something I don't understand.
First of all, why is the change made on some schools and not on others? If you're studying these school districts and can document how some athletic programs are costly and others aren't, I would like to see your sourcing.Jrshooter (talk) 22:11, 27 April 2014 (UTC)
use of costly
Effective 2012-13, athletic spending in PA all public school districts are publicly reported on an annual basis by the PA Department of Education. See http://www.education.state.pa.us/portal/server.pt/community/school_services_office/9153/disclosure_of_interscholastic_athletic_opportunities/1419362 Disclosure of Interscholastic Athletic Opportunities
I am now adding this third party source to pages I edit, as well as the public disclosure annual budget document for each district which includes a breakdown of spending by cost centers.
There are 500 public school districts in PA. It takes time for me to edit each page. While my goal is to update a page a day, I do miss the goal. Delays in updating School District pages are compounded by my efforts to add public charter school pages and individual school pages. Hope this addresses your concerns.Raindrop73 (talk) 06:52, 28 April 2014 (UTC)

Wikipedia and copyright
Hello Raindrop73, and welcome to Wikipedia. All or some of your addition(s) to Peter Daley has had to be removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material without permission from the copyright holder. While we appreciate your contributing to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from your sources to avoid copyright or plagiarism issues here.
- You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double inline citation. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Help:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
- Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. (There is a college-level introduction to paraphrase, with examples, hosted by the Online Writing Lab of Purdue.) Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
- Our primary policy on using copyrighted content is Wikipedia:Copy-paste.
- If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. However, there are steps that must be taken to verify that license before you do. See Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
- In very rare cases (that is, for sources that are public domain or compatibly licensed), it may be possible to include greater portions of a source text. However, please seek help at the help desk before adding such content to the article. 99.9% of sources may not be added in this way, so it is necessary to seek confirmation first. If you do confirm that a source is public domain or compatibly licensed, you will still need to provide full attribution; see Wikipedia:Plagiarism for the steps you need to follow.
- Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied or translated without attribution. If you want to copy or translate from another Wikipedia project or article, you can, but please follow the steps in Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia.
It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. — Diannaa (talk) 22:14, 24 March 2016 (UTC)

Your addition to Perry County, Pennsylvania has been removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material to Wikipedia without permission from the copyright holder.
