Hey, can you find some images for Charles C. Coleman (director) and George Stevens? Check out Coleman's assistant director films, it's like a what's what of Golden Hollywood masterpieces!♦ Dr. Blofeld 22:21, 22 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, no luck with Coleman?♦ Dr. Blofeld 12:22, 23 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Beautiful!♦ Dr. Blofeld 14:12, 23 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Are The Temptress images on my talk page up for deletion really not public domain? I thought most silent films were public domain.♦ Dr. Blofeld 13:53, 24 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Not sure you can find any free media related to

Meet The Flintstones? Can't believe it was missing!♦ Dr. Blofeld 20:25, 25 November 2014 (UTC)[reply
]

Oh I know the characters are, I was thinking something like a group performing it or something, you know like an old jazz orchestra in the middle of playing it or something. Don't worry.♦ Dr. Blofeld 21:01, 25 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

There's a guitar arrangement on it which is extremely difficult technically! Started Me, Gangster, amazingly there seems to still be some missing films for Walsh who directed some masterpieces. If Me, Gangster is a patch on White Heat then I want to see it asap! A young Carole Lombard in it too! More here which could be added to both articles.♦ Dr. Blofeld 22:25, 25 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Nice on. I don't know about you but I love the look of films and actors from that period and like looking at old photographs and stills and lobby cards!!♦ Dr. Blofeld 22:48, 25 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I blue linked Café Montmartre, I wonder if this or something like it is obtainable. I'll have a look in newspaper.com tomorrow for more content. I love 1920s Los Angeles! ♦ Dr. Blofeld 23:15, 25 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Thankyou!!♦ Dr. Blofeld 13:48, 26 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Haha just watching Don Terry with Armida here. Rather good actually, less wooden than a young John Wayne during that period!. I'm a new fan of Armida, must check out more of her films. Small world, I started Border Romance and it turns out you uploaded a lobby card File:Border Romance lobby card.jpg last month with a color pic of Terry in the middle!♦ Dr. Blofeld 14:46, 26 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Go for it. I might try to see more films of Don Terry some time. There also seems to be a few missing ones by Raoul Walsh and Richard Thorpe from that period worth starting which would be good to get hold of pictures for. Thanks for all the work you do finding free images! I love looking at those old film magazines!!♦ Dr. Blofeld 15:26, 26 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

By eerie coincidence Red Skelton's Hollywood star is outside Café Montmartre!♦ Dr. Blofeld 19:58, 27 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Can you find one for D. Ross Lederman?♦ Dr. Blofeld 15:54, 28 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Can you find an image for Sing While You Dance? The only fair use poster I can find is tiny. Perhaps a lobby card or something?♦ Dr. Blofeld 21:04, 1 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Are you looking at my

Request 2

Hi, I know you're quite good at uploading stuff from ebay so wondered if you could help. I wanted to add an image of The National to the article, but it would need to be trimmed and I'm not very good at doing that. Also I'm not sure where we stand with copyright. Can you help? Thanks, This is Paul (talk) 16:33, 27 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

That's really great and much appreciated, thanks. Never quite got why people panic so much over these things. Surely an image is ok as long as it gets added to an article. This is Paul (talk) 16:50, 27 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Looks fantastic. Thanks again. :) This is Paul (talk) 17:10, 27 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I like it. :) This is Paul (talk) 17:30, 27 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Don Terry

Hi there, Do you have time to do one of the QPQs for Template:Did you know nominations/Don Terry, Café Montmartre? And I'll do the other. --Rosiestep (talk) 20:59, 28 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Great! Thanks, --Rosiestep (talk) 23:26, 28 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Very interesting, We hope, and absolutely, yes, go ahead and add it. --Rosiestep (talk) 01:27, 29 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Perfect. --Rosiestep (talk) 01:35, 29 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

A beer for you!

Cheers to you Wehope for all the poster work you've done. Have a blessed holiday season. Koplimek (talk) 01:11, 2 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Can you find any images on this? Been watching it! ♦ Dr. Blofeld 21:37, 6 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Wonderful, thanks!♦ Dr. Blofeld 10:55, 7 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Can you upload this to the commons (basically Districts of Hungary as of 2013) and see if you can find any photos for One Desire, no worries if not.♦ Dr. Blofeld 22:20, 8 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I did suspect it might have been. Thanks anyway!♦ Dr. Blofeld 12:46, 9 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Barrymore

Thanks for chipping in with comments on the Barrymore PR page. Could you run a check on those images where I've said I cannot find a US copyright? I'm sort of sure I was along the right lines, but I'd be happier if someone more experienced than I double checked it! Cheers - SchroCat (talk) 16:19, 10 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Dearie (1927)

Wow!, Congrats on that poster 'templated' if that's a proper word. I first saw that poster in a film book on silent and sound leading men over two decades ago. This was way before the internet but I remembered the poster and it sort of got me interested in lobby posters of the silent years. They are the best in style in my opinion. Thanks again for all the great work you do. Peace. Koplimek (talk) 01:05, 12 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

We hope, just to let you know I found the title of that book that I first saw the lobby poster to Dearie(1927). It's GREAT LOVERS OF THE MOVIES by Jane Mercer c.1975. I did a research of my library system and their copies are 'long gone' as I had expected. This is the book cover:

R&J

Hi We Hope, Can you see if you can find any free images of John Barrymore in Romeo and Juliet (1936 film)? I wouldn't mind dropping something into the JB article from that one, if you can. Cheers - SchroCat (talk) 21:32, 14 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Again: you are a star! Thanks so much for coming up with an excellent choice: I've added one of them to the article, which I hope to get to FAC in the not-too-distant future! Cheers - SchroCat (talk) 10:04, 15 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Barrymore FAC

Hi We Hope, As always, many thanks for your work on the Barrymore PR; the article is now at FAC, should you wish to comment further. Cheers – SchroCat (talk) 23:20, 16 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Robert Mitchum images

Hello there! I know you're probably super busy but you did such an awesome job on the Lauren Bacall images that I was wondering if you mind finding a few for Robert Mitchum, I hoping to have the same affect and get his filmography to FL status. Let me know if you can or can't, thanks so much! LADY LOTUSTALK 15:53, 17 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
