Copying within Wikipedia requires attribution

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Boeing 747 into Airborne aircraft carrier. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. The attribution has been provided for this situation, but if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, please provide attribution for that duplication. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. If you are the sole author of the prose that was copied, attribution is not required. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 15:00, 26 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for letting me know, I did not realize I had to do that. I will keep that in mind in the future. Sdio7 (talk) 03:15, 27 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia and copyright

Control copyright icon Hello Sdio7, and welcome to Wikipedia. Your additions to

suitably-free and compatible copyright license. (To request such a release, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission.) While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from sources to avoid copyright and plagiarism
issues.

It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 13:04, 10 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Sdio7, it is appreciated that you are adding information based on peer-reviewed references. I would encourage you to follow the above advice by Doc James and use the citation tool, in particular because it will generate a fuller citation that includes the DOI and a link to the online version of the paper if available. I have made that change for one of your additions here. Regards, HaeB (talk) 03:29, 25 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Enslaved negroes

I don't understand why this is a racial slur. Please explain. deisenbe (talk) 19:38, 14 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Per Merriam Webster:https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/Negro
While some people don't mind it, a lot of people would consider it more of a slur today (although some writers deliberately use the term to mock slavery, since the South commonly referred to slaves as negroes, so using it is seen as mocking the South on its own terms). So it should be used primarily in quotes if you want to do that since Wiki is an encyclopaedia.Sdio7 (talk) 00:47, 15 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Requesting inputs

Greetings,

Just as I stumbled upon a term and sources, I initiated a Draft:Irrational beliefs, but since then it is under discussion @ Draft talk:Irrational beliefs#Related Articles Whether Draft:Irrational beliefs can stand out as an independent topic or it's better to cover under one of related topic like, Cognitive distortion , Fallacy, Superstition, Irrationality, Delusion.

Requesting your inputs @ Draft talk:Irrational beliefs#Related Articles, since lately you seem to have worked on article Conspiracy theory.

Thanks and warm regards
