ZX Spectrum Vega

Hi. I removed the list of games you started for the ZX Spectrum Vega article. We don't need this as a big table so I am glad that I caught it before you spent too much time on it. If you can add a reference for what the 1000 games are then that would be good. (Please see Wikipedia:Citing sources if you need help finding out how to do this.) It would provide the readers with the ability to find out what they are, if they want to, without you needing to make a huge table and without cluttering up the article, which is a win-win all round. --DanielRigal (talk) 21:52, 2 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Console generations

This is already covered twice, once by the Video Game series template already at the top of each page (Under "Consoles") and again at the end of the articles, by their navbar template. We don't need a third. -- ferret (talk) 22:53, 5 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I saw your comments in the edit history mentioning that the subject is particularly obscure. However, this does not absolve us of requiring that the subject meet notability guidelines, nor does it allow us to cite unreliable sources such as forums and blogs. That having been said, I was able to find at least one academic paper that at the very least mentions the VTech 3D Gamate [1], which may help the subject meet

notability guidelines

XaviX / Domyos Interactive System

Hi,

Just saw your edit on the XaviX page with the DIS reference; I was greatly surprised, as while writing an article with a fellow researcher (about playing with your feet) we noticed the similarity and found the DIS to be the European version of the DIS, although released much later. I also noticed you do a lot of work on obscure machines; we are actually working on a research line on "failed" consoles, so we are just really curious about the work you are doing as we might be able to collaborate, somehow. Anyway, to the point... is there any way to actually contact you? Although I have a Wikipedia user since long ago, I'm not really active so I don't know how messaging or contacting works. Thanks and kind regards, m. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mmoracantallops (talkcontribs) 20:02, 13 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hello there! I'm interested in these more obscure consoles because no one seemed to make an effort to preserve and compile basic information other consoles have on their respective pages. I've been completing game lists such as all the VTech consoles and the Hyperscan, along others, and doing some other things to more obscure consoles. I created the page for the Palmtex Portable Videogame System which I found super interesting, that's the most intensive research I've done on a topic yet. Your research on failed consoles sounds interesting. When I comes to contacting me, I have a Twitter account (https://twitter.com/ray_tubular) but not much else. Thanks for showing interest!
