Your test edit

Hi, I noticed you tested an edit to {{Taxonomy/Amphibia}} here. Anything in particular you were trying to accomplish by blanking the template? Bob the WikipediaN (talkcontribs) 17:59, 10 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, sorry. On the article for
Amphibia. I assumed this to be vandalism and tried to remove it. That automatic taxobox is really confusing. --TangoFett (talk) 23:48, 10 February 2011 (UTC)[reply
]
Ah, yes, I saw that discussion shortly after I saw your edit and figured it had something to do with that issue.
To help you get more comfortable with the new system, I'll suggest you take a look at {{
Automatic taxobox/doc/Step-by-step}}, which is our effort to show folks how to work on taxonomies using the new automatic taxobox system. There's a huge learning curve, but it will reduce maintenance as taxonomies are revised with future advances in biology. I also encourage you to try it out in your sandbox and possibly even convert some taxoboxes to get a feel for how it works. Bob the WikipediaN (talkcontribs) 06:13, 11 February 2011 (UTC)[reply

Repairing vandalism

Hi TangoFett,

Thanks for catching the vandalism at Unicellular organism. If you've got time, whenever you find vandalism, it's worth checking the article history to make sure you get all of it.
