Some clarification on SCP Secret Laboratory AfD

I saw there was a misunderstanding back in September (exactly 1 month ago) on the AfD page here. It looks like you were trying to dispute the point of it being unsourced by stating that the wiki would be good for sourcing. However, they were attempting to state that the subject was not

WP:GNG
) The New York Times probably will not create an article on SCP: Secret Laboratory, however there have been some sources found on the article right now.

What they were trying to say is that there needs to be some coverage of the game outside of sources provided by the game developer.

You also said that the steam guides verify the content on the wiki. However, the steam guides are created by people who are not professionals/have had work published by notable secondary sources or working at a notable news website or company (

WP:SPS
).

Self published sources are used as this secondary source. Primary sources are the developers making formal statements or giving formal information, which is what you were attempting to use as a secondary source.

I hope this explanation helped you understand what the other side was trying to tell you during the debate. Rafplayz001(talk | contribs) 18:27, 29 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Kitty Online

There was a template that you left for editors to see and I tried revising the History section in a more simplified version, since it was indicated it is "better read as a prose". I did not alter any content or source, just simply the format. Any further input is welcome and if I have made a mistake feel free to undo. Just trying to help around! This is not acceptable. -- Whpq (talk) 13:57, 19 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Although it may be unacceptable and agaisnt Wikipedia's guidelines for image usage, I thought it was playful and humorous. I think it was acceptable, because, not only, did I spell Shakespeare's name correctly (I could've spelled it the more humourous way: shakespear), but I also made sure that the captions for the images were on-topic and (somewhat) accurately portrayed the cultural impact and significance of To Be or Not To Be. Additionally, Wikipedia has the guidelines WP:BOLD and WPIAR, which should be taken into consideration as well. TheSkyIsGreen (talk) 14:21, 19 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
