Typeface stuff
Hi, Toast!
A couple things...
I see you added {{merge|Typeface}} to
Also, I see one of your to-dos is to create
By the way, I will probably be moving
- Hi, TJRC. I agree with your suggestions about Copyright on typefacesand i've undone the merge suggestion. The article i listed in my to-do is just there regarding my intention to eventually create a page that encompasses legal aspects of all of typefaces, computer fonts, and font licensing/web font licensing.
- My goal is to create an article that will serve the interests of not only law students and attorneys, but also web developers and designers who may encounter licensing and copyright issues in their work.
- What if we created one page that encompasses all of Legal aspects of typefaces ? Would the scope be too much? Let me know what you think. ToastIsTasty (talk) 23:32, 22 October 2010 (UTC)]
- I think that's a fine idea, if you have some non-IP aspects for discussion; if not, Intellectual property protection for typefaces is probably a better title. Looking at Typeface, all the material in the section "Legal aspects" is about IP. I'm not aware of a whole lot written on typeface or font licensing, but then I haven't looked at the issue in detail for many years. TJRC (talk) 00:03, 23 October 2010 (UTC)
- Check out Patent and copyright protection of fonts, another new article. ToastIsTasty (talk) 01:04, 23 October 2010 (UTC)]

Patent and copyright protection of fonts
Hey Tasty Toast, Thanks for the extra articles on the discussion page of Patent and copyright protection of fonts. Please add anything you find necessary. I am some what stuck at the moment with the article and I am looking for peer reviews and other edits to move the article along. Myself and the wikipedia world, I'm sure, would appreciate any additions I'm sure you could make. Legin-gross-drawkcab (talk) 02:06, 1 November 2010 (UTC)
Citing sources
Hi -- I noticed that you just added a number of sources to the Lane article as external links. I would suggest that you meld them into the article as references, for what they support. To see how to do that, I would suggest that you take a look at Wikipedia:Citing sources. Best.--Epeefleche (talk) 08:00, 2 November 2010 (UTC)
- Hi Epeefleche, I am in the midst of revising the article right now. Consider it a WIP. Thanks for the pointers. ToastIsTasty (talk) 08:03, 2 November 2010 (UTC)
- Great. Good luck.--Epeefleche (talk) 11:29, 2 November 2010 (UTC)
