Chill out pal, on wiki stuff that's been deleted can be un-deleted with the click of a few buttons no problem. Unfortunately you've answered ur own question with that quote, it doesn't mention terrorism.
"there was a time just before they went down the drain when such crimes as Dillinger's were as common as dogfights. The Terror had not been just in North America"
Dillinger was a child killer, the word terror might as well be replaced with fear. It doesn't mention Terrorism, in the modern sense, the act/threat of violence committed for political or ideological goals. Ryan4314 (talk) 22:44, 8 February 2008 (UTC)
- Hi, I've looked through my copy of the book, it says;
- "Mr.Dubois was talking about the disorders that preceded the breakup of the North American Republic, back in XXth century. According to him, there was time just before they went down the drain when such crimes as Dillinger's were as common. The Terror had not been just in North America..."
- Now don't get me wrong I love this book and Heinlein had incredible foresight considering it was written in 59'. However he was talking about the degradation of society, that's what it says on the Starship Troopers article (which is a featured article) here in case you just think this is my opinion. Anyway to say;
- "that at the end of the terrorist activity which took place all around the world, including Russia and the British Isles."
- is quite a stretch! There's no mention of terrorism (the act/threat of violence committed for political or ideological goals) like what you wiki-linked to, besides to draw that conclusion would be what Wikipedia calls Original Research. Now I know this article has some serious OR problems [1]. So tell u what, ur edit's probably not doing any harm, it be cool if u could revert by tomorrow night and then me n u can get to work on fixing up the article, how does that sound? :) Ryan4314 (talk) 23:23, 8 February 2008 (UTC)]

- By the way, any chance you can get the timeline at HBO updated with the events of Halo 3? Der Wohltemperierte Fuchs (talk) 21:57, 7 April 2008 (UTC)
- I'm pretty busy at the moment, I'd have to read through the timeline to get Halo 3 down to the basics... but an important, definite date is March 3, 2553 as the date the memorial is dedicated, or when the war ends... (see the cinematic) not exactly sure which. Der Wohltemperierte Fuchs (talk) 00:41, 9 April 2008 (UTC)
- By all means, split it up. I don't own the article, after all. :P I haven't really fleshed out all the components, but something like Species of StarCraft is what I've been keeping in my mind's eye (with development for each faction within the larger sections.) Just remember to keep it summarized... while I do know we need more in-universe details, we should remember we have to keep it balanced by the other stuff, so perhaps talk about the government and military in the same section (different paragraphs or whatnot.) Der Wohltemperierte Fuchs (talk) 18:30, 30 May 2008 (UTC)]
Re: HBO
I think we should expand the section before we decide to spin them off. Really, the fan fiction aspect is not really what HBO is known for, and so while we need to include it for comprehensiveness, sources dictate a smaller portion in the article. Re: UNSC
Yes, it is shaping up a lot better than I expected (in terms of volume of content.) That said, the main reason we merged UNSC into Factions of Halo still remains an issue: there's no info on reception that we could use to make a GA+ class article. I think it makes more sense to streamline the content we have and make sure its accessible for non-fans. Der Wohltemperierte Fuchs (talk) 13:39, 6 August 2008 (UTC)
- Well, I suppose they could, but I kept those sections short and pictureless because they link to the main standalone articles. It's preference, though personally I'd rather use allowances of fair use images on the elements which don't have another article, but it depends what content shapes up. Der Wohltemperierte Fuchs (talk) 14:36, 6 August 2008 (UTC)
- I think it might make more sense to mention them in the introduction of the UNSC section. Der Wohltemperierte Fuchs (talk) 15:02, 6 August 2008 (UTC)
- but are they that important? They have mentions in the novels, but to a casual reader (besides reading about their roles in the individual articles about the novels) they aren't really that important- all you need to know is that they rebelled against the UNSC. Der Wohltemperierte Fuchs (talk) 16:13, 6 August 2008 (UTC)
- I think it might make more sense to mention them in the introduction of the UNSC section. Der Wohltemperierte Fuchs (talk) 15:02, 6 August 2008 (UTC)

"Color" discussion
See
Fascism in the political spectrum
The RfC on Fascism#Fascism in the political spectrum has now run one month and there are now two versions of the intro para:
- Most scholars do not find the terms right and left very useful with regard to fascism, which incorporated elements of both left and right, rejected the main currents of leftist and rightist politics, and attracted adherents from both ends of the political spectrum. Hence, fascism can be called sui generis. Some scholars do place fascism squarely on the right or left.
- Most academics describe fascism as extreme right, radical right, far right or ultra right; some calling it a mixture of authoritarian conservatism and right-wing nationalism. However, there exists a dissenting view that fascism represents radical centrism. Moreover, a number of writers highlight aspects of some types of fascist ideology which may typically be associated with the left.
Could you please comment at Talk:Fascism#RfC.
The Four Deuces (talk) 21:56, 17 June 2009 (UTC)
- Following this RfC, there is currently a proposal regarding the issue of whether or not it is appropriate to characterise fascism as "right-wing".
- Even if you don't have much to say, it would be useful if you could let your view be known in order to help guide the discussion towards some sort of conclusion.
- Please take a look: here.

National Liberation Movement
Greetings. I see that you did a major rewrite of Template:Neo-fascism a couple of months ago. One of the links you added in the Organization section was to National Liberation Movement -- my question is, which one? There have been many organizations by that name, several of which are notable enough to have their own Wikipedia articles. Right now, the template is linking to a disambiguation page. --R'n'B (call me Russ) 10:05, 29 June 2009 (UTC)

Re: Re: How Can You Classify the Nazi Party As "Far Right" and Say That I'm Not Neutral When...
"Nick; Firstly, I identify myself as a right-wing national conservative. Secondly, I never blocked, attacked, or silenced anyone who disagrees with my comments."
- I asked you to address a specific incident, not whether you've done it generally.
"I removed claims that the Nazi Party is far-left because they're based on fringe, biased literature and thus not part of mainstream opinions. Thirdly, marching on my talk page and saying I scare you and you don't like me and asserting other peoples' experiences with my comments as a basis for your complaint when YOU yourself have been warned multiple times of your vandalistic editing, hardly entitles you to claim I'm unreasonable. --UNSC Trooper (talk) 11:58, 3 January 2010 (UTC)"

Nazi Party
I know upon first seeing this pop up you're probably thinking that it is against your edit, but truthfully I think it is alright with keeping far-right in the box, so long as nazism's left wing positions are noted as well. - BlagoCorzine2016 (talk) 20:43, 24 April 2010 (UTC)
- Very true, most of the left part of Nazism comes from its larger control from government, though in a way it sort of ties in with the social part since it allowed them to persecute minorities with that larger control, though their beliefs were extremely right wing in that social sense. They tied pretty well together (not in a good way at all, but conjoined well to fulfilling the nazis' goals). - BlagoCorzine2016 (talk) 21:39, 24 April 2010 (UTC)
