Hello, I'm Martin Urbanec. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions —specifically this edit to Cognitive linguistics—because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Help desk. Thanks. Martin Urbanec (talk) 20:36, 23 February 2020 (UTC)

Language
Hello, Weidorje. I undid your edits to Language because I think the kind of changes you seem to have in mind need input from multiple editors. Please comment at Talk:Language#Edits undone March 2020 if you are so inclined. Thank you, and happy editing. Cnilep (talk) 02:58, 2 March 2020 (UTC)

Hjelmslev's transformational algebra
At the article on Transformational grammar, you have inserted the following sentence: "Transformational algebra was first introduced to general linguistics by the structural linguist Louis Hjelmslev", with Pieter Seuren's "Western linguistics: An historical introduction" cited as the source. However, you have given no page number in the source. I've looked through Seuren's book and have been unable to find any reference to "Transformational algebra" or any suggestion that Hjelmslev pioneered the idea of transformations. Would you care to clarify where exactly in your source it says that Hjelmslev introduced the concept of transformational algebra, and how it might relate to Harrisian and Chomskyan transformations?
