Ok, I reverted my edit but the next time you can give a reliable source.
The aviation user. Zurich00swiss (talk) 16:15, 12 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Per WP:AIRPORTS, an airline's schedule (and it doesn't get more reliable than that I believe) is always implicitly referenced, that's we we never use the homepage of an airline as reference.
talk) 16:18, 12 September 2015 (UTC)[reply
]
Yes, that's correct, but sometimes there are changes that are showed only in the booking system of the airline. For example, an airline rarely says to newspapers that is stopping a flight, but we can see it on the website. Anyway, I don't know exactly what your problem is, so if there are better sources the home page is not to use, but if it's the unic source, it is more useful for wikipedia having this source than nothing. In a lot of airports there is this written: PLEASE DO NOT ADD OR REMOVE ROUTES WITHOUT GIVING A VALID SOURCE. EXACT DATES ARE MANDATORY FOR NEW ROUTES TO BE ADDED HERE AS PER WP:AIRPORT-CONTENT (BULLET #11). ALSO ADD INLINE CITATIONS IF POSSIBLE.
The aviation user. Zurich00swiss (talk) 16:34, 12 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
If you feel the airline's website should be added as reference for a new route, fine, I'll do it from now on, although I find no point in doing so.

Candidate for aircraft of the Week

The ###

Boeing 737-700 N781WN of Southwest Airlines.
This aircraft is painted in New Mexico One Livery and in this photo we can see the aircraft on the runway at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport.
This plane was delivered to Southwest in 2000 as New Mexico One, but its tail was repainted in 2005 to match the rest of Southwest's fleet in "Canyon Blue". It is unknown whether the plane will be repainted again to match the new "Heart" fleet colors introduced in 2014
Southwest has a tradition of Painting aircraft in the flags of the states they serve. New Mexico's state flag has been rated as the best designed flag in the North America (including the US, Canada, and territories) by the North American Vexillological Association. This is in part due to the meanings behind the symbols and colors of the flag. Between the name of the airline and the flag, this is the best representation of the Southwest region of the U.S.
Southwest Airlines is the world's largest low-cost carrier, followed by Ryanair, and the United States' fourth largest airline in terms of passengers.
Southwest does not participate in an airline alliance, but in the past has participated in codeshare agreement with other airlines. Through these agreements, there have been times when Southwest purchased the airlines outright, and folded it into their operations, as was the case with ATA Airlines in 2008, and AirTran Airways in 2014.
In order to keep costs low, and keep standardization amongst the fleet, Southwest has only ever owned Boeing 737's, and only for a short while did they lease 727's during their early operations. They have been the launch customer for the 737-300, -500, -700, and will be the launch customer for the 7-MAX 7 and -MAX 8.

The airline
serves 41 U.S. states, and through their acquisition of AirTran, has now penetrated the low-cost carrier market for Mexico and the Caribbean, and even going as far south as Costa Rica
. Southwest also has plans to start serving Canadian markets in the near future, upon the arrival of their new 737-800's.

That is my candidate for AOTW

Even if we ignore the "aircraft of the week", most of your user page consisted of stuff such as "My favourites airports", "European airports ranking in my opinion", and so on, i.e. you were using the page as a personal web page to store information about your personal interests, unrelated to work for the encyclopaedia. Although that did not belong in a Wikipedia user page, I would not have deleted it, as it was fairly minor. However, now that it has been deleted, to restore it would be inappropriate. There was one short section, headed My "history", which was about your work on Wikipedia, and I would see no problem with re-creating that, or something similar. The editor who uses the pseudonym "

The aviation user. Zurich00swiss (talk) 18:24, 30 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
When you upload an image you first see this clear explanation. As part of the upload procedure you are shown a preview of the image and have to affirm that it is your own work. Despite this, you didn't realise that it wasn't yours until after you completed the upload? I guess you must have a pile of similar photos of airborne aircraft taken from above that you did take yourself, and muddled it up with one of those.
talk) 18:52, 30 September 2015 (UTC)[reply

Zurich00swiss, when you uploaded the photograph, you claimed that it was your own work. You must have known that it wasn't. Since this was on Wikimedia commons, not the English language Wikipedia, it is outside our jurisdiction. However, things like this are not going to help you to gain the trust that you need if you are to continue to edit on Wikipedia. Also, if it turns out that you have ever linked that photograph to any Wikipedia page, then it does become a copyright infringement within the jurisdiction of English Wikipedia. You need to realise that Wikipedia is an adult project. That does not mean that teenagers can't edit here, on the contrary some excellent editors are teenagers, but they are excellent editors only because they approach Wikipedia in an adult way: teenage editors who treat it as just another web site where you can play around and post any old stuff for fun, and never mind about taking anything seriously, don't become good editors. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously, and editors who make false claims about copyright are generally warned to stop doing so, and if they don't they are shown the door. It is really unfortunate that just recently a number of things have come to light which have cast doubt on your editing. I unblocked you because I thought you should be given a chance to prove you could be good editor, and I really do want you to succeed. However, it may be that the best thing will be for you to take a break from Wikipedia for a couple of years or so, and come back when you are more mature. The editor who uses the pseudonym "

  1. In fact I have only removed non-essential facts from that section about The Circle. That info is relevant in an article about the building but not for an article about an airport.
  2. The promo was the excessive use of maps to show where headquarters were located and how to get there (in one case in three languages). I have left the sources that gave the address, I removed the rest. All companies are still there.

Warning on harassment of a good-faith new editor

This edit is totally unacceptable, for several reasons.

  1. Posting two warnings at different levels together like that is either an attempt to intimidate the editor in question, an attempt to give other editors the misleading impression that the editor has received separate warnings for separate pieces of vandalism, or both.
  2. There is no reasonable way of interpreting Mario's editing as "vandalism". It is clearly good-faith editing, intended to be constructive.
  3. Posting a level four warning to a new editor, with only one earlier warning, is justifiable only in the case of seriously unacceptable problems, such as grossly offensive vandalism or libel. Mario's editing does not come anywhere remotely near to qualifying.

In view of the dubious nature of your editing history, if I ever see you treating a good-faith new editor in a similar way again, it is quite likely that I will block you without further warning.

You may like to remove the inappropriate message you posted. You may even like to apologise to him for it. You may like to post a helpful message to Mario, explaining politely why you disagree with his editing. Or you may not: it's up to you. The editor who uses the pseudonym "

If what you say is true, then you need to explain more clearly why. You say that Mario "destroyed" the article, but you give no indication at all how or why that was so. If you can tell me clearly what was wrong with Mario's editing then naturally I will reconsider the matter, but so far you have not explained what you think was wrong with his editing. If it was vandalism, then please do say why it was, as it is not obviously vandalism to an outsider, without the amount of background knowledge of the subject that you have. From what I can see, it could easily be that the reason you complain about Mario's editing is simply that you don't like it, and if there is a more substantial reason then it is necessary to say what that reason is. (Also, even if it was vandalism, that does not justify sending two warnings at different levels together.)
Incidentally, I found your message to me because I checked back on this page to see if you had answered: your attempt to ping me by putting*@[[User:JamesBWatson]] at the top of the message did not get a notification to me, because a ping works only if you sign your post with ~~~~. I don't knew if this is important, and worth for the LSZH page. And the problem is to finde references. But If the Swiss Air Frce will have to force an aircraft to land it will be in LSGG or LSZH. The second thing is that if military air Bases (Sion, Meiringen ,Payerne or Emmen) have to close because of some reason (bad weater, trap landing,..) LSGG or Zurich can become the alternate landing spot... This could mean that two with Amraam , Sidewinder etc armt fighter stand over night at the airport. Unfortunatly the only "ref" i knew is a swiss air force youtubeclip where the diversion to land at LSGG is shown.. and probably some newspaper articles about the damaged wing of the Kingair douring such an trainig on LSZH.

Grammar Issues

Hi, I think you may want to improve your English. As your edits make no sense. I have cleaned up your edits on HolidayJet and reworded everything. There seemed to be an "s" at the end of each word you added. If you are more fluent in another language, you may want to edit on another Wikipedia. 84.92.163.184 (talk) 09:57, 22 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

84.92.163.184, my only one error that I made was "AFTER" that you changed in "BEFORE", the other your corrections was because HolidayJet failed and you changed the verbs from present to past.--The aviation user. Zurich00swiss (talk) 16:43, 22 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Maybe, but you need to improve English. Or you will never get additional user rights, and please do not put random warnings are people's talk pages. Like you did on my talk page. I have reported your actions to an administrator, the section above also shows that this is not the first time you have done this. 84.92.163.184 (talk) 16:39, 23 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm and Wjkxy are friends but I think that on Wikipedia we didn't edit the same things or i think that he don't help me and I don't help him when there is a discussion that I'm/he's not interest.
When I saw that the same anonymous IP, first accused me in HolidayJet's page and after he/she made a War edit.
I think that I made a little mistake, because, yes, I put a wrong message in the anonymous page, but I'm not the only one because also the ANI posted in my talk page a message accused me about English errors in HolidayJet's page that I never made (and I make a lot of English grammar errors) but not in that case.--The aviation user. Awards section at Zürich Airport

As you deleted a recent edit removing the advertising for an award at Zürich Airport you should read the guidelines regarding advertisements and the content of airport articles - especially as you have a very bad history regarding your editing behaviour here. Award lists are per guidelines not recommended in airport articles as discussed at the Aviation-Portal several times. If it is heavily advertising the source or the source is a private commercial service as both was the case here it is not allowed at all. If the section is restored again, the administration will be informed. Thanks for your understanding.

Hello, but why do you delete advertising only in ZRH when in other airports there are more advertising articles than ZRH!!--The aviation user. Zurich00swiss (talk) 14:14, 14 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
And now you are editwarring to get the poor piece back into the article. As you canb see, but probably deliberately ignored, there was a discussion going on about this award. And FFA promised to work on it and get independent sources. What you do is frustrating collaboration, not promoting it. The Banner talk 18:58, 15 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
