White River is a town in Ashland County, Wisconsin, United States. The population was 921 at the 2010 census.^[3] The census-designated place of Marengo and unincorporated communities of Sanborn and part of Jolmaville are located in the town.

Geography

According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 44.1 square miles (114.3 km²), of which 44.1 square miles (114.1 km²) is land and 0.077 square miles (0.2 km²), or 0.15%, is water.^[3]
