Westminster Centre is a shopping mall in New Westminster, British Columbia, Canada. It is located at the intersection of Sixth Street and Sixth Avenue in the Uptown area of New Westminster. Notable retailers include London Drugs, TD Canada Trust, Vancity, BCAA, and Starbucks.

The mall opened under the name Westminster Mall in 1978, and was renamed Westminster Centre in 2004 to reflect the changing mix of uses in the complex. The 2nd, 3rd and 4th floors of the building offer a variety of professional and medical offices. Over the years, Westminster Centre has undergone a number of renovations. The last major renovation was in 2005, which added the London Drugs store.

H.C. (Hans Christian) Erik Midelfort (born 1942), is C. Julian Bishko Professor of History and Religious Studies at the University of Virginia. He is a specialist of the German Reformation and the history of Christianity in Early Modern Europe (c. 1400-1800).

He was born in Eau Claire, Wisconsin and attended Yale University where he received a B.A. in History in 1964. He remained there for graduate studies in History under the supervision of Jaroslav Pelikan and other noted scholars such as Hajo Holborn. In 1970, he graduated from Yale, and his first book (Witch Hunting in Southwestern Germany, 1562-1684: The Social and Intellectual Foundations) won the Gustav O. Arlt Award in the Humanities in 1973 from the Council of Graduate Schools in the United States.

From 1968 to 1970, he taught at Stanford University, and throughout his career, he has been a visiting scholar at Bern, Stuttgart, Harvard, and Oxford. Since 1970, he has been a member of the Corcoran Department of History at the University of Virginia. In addition to his early work on witchcraft, Midelfort is perhaps best known for his award-winning studies on madness. In 1994, he published Mad Princes in Renaissance Germany and, in 1999, A History of Madness in Sixteenth-Century Germany. For both books, he won the Roland Bainton Prize for the best book of the year in History and Theology from the Sixteenth Century Society and Conference. He is the only scholar to win the award twice. For the latter study, Midelfort also received from the Ralph Waldo Emerson Award from Phi Beta Kappa. More recently, Midelfort was selected as the lecturer-in-residence for the Dwight H. Terry Lectures at Yale University, during which he presented his latest book-length work, Exorcism and Enlightenment: Johann Joseph Gassner and the Demons of 18th-Century Germany (2005).

Because of his extensive work in translation of secondary sources, Midelfort is also well-known for strengthening connections between his German and American colleagues. Among the seminal works that he has translated on the German Reformation are Peter Blickle’s The Revolution of 1525 (co-translator with Thomas Brady) and Bernd Moeller’s Imperial Cities and the Reformation, Three Essays (co-translator with Mark U. Edwards).

He has been awarded grants from numerous organizations, including the John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation and the National Endowment for the Humanities, and in 2004, he was the recipient of a Festschrift, or commemorative volume, presented by his German colleagues: Wider alle Hexerei und Teufelswerk: Die europäische Hexenverfolgung und ihre Auswirkungen auf Südwestdeutschland, ed. Dr. Jana Fraiser was a fictional character in the Stargate SG-1 TV series, played by Teryl Rothery.

Prior to joining Stargate Command, Dr. Jana Fraiser served as chief of the Aeromedical Services at Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada. Her medical education includes a B.A. magna cum laude in chemistry and biology and an M.D. at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio.

Jana was married before she came to the SGC, but it ended badly. She told Carter that her husband "took the term 'this man's army' a bit literally."

As the Chief Medical Officer of

, Dr. Fraiser was responsible for maintaining the health of the SG teams, as well as the SGC's support staff and base personnel. On many occasions Fraiser was also responsible for the health of alien refugees to Earth, including Goa'uld symbiotes. During a shared meal with the documentarian, Fraiser was called away to a medical emergency on P3X-666 where she treated Senior Airman Simon Wells for a staff blast wound. Unfortunately, she was shot by a Jaffa that had penetrated the guards perimeter - the blast killed her instantly. Dr. Jackson, who had been filming a message for Airman Wells' wife, caught the incident on camera. Her loss greatly affected all SGC personnel, and was noted to the very top of the U.S. Administration as a tragic loss.^[8]

Airman Wells survived thanks to Dr. Frasier and named his daughter "Jana" in honor of Dr. Frasier.

Voodoo Queen is an unreleased song by the American Hard Rock Band Van Halen. It was never officially released on any Van Halen Album, although it does appear on the famous Gene Simmons Demos and other assorted demos done by the band prior to their debut in 1978. Most of the guitar, bass, and drum work was used to create the song Mean Street, from Van Halen's Fair Warning(1981) album. The main riff is the consistency, while the verses were used to accompany Mean Street's chorus. Voodoo Queen's chorus musical arrangement never saw the light of a Van Halen album, and the guitar solos were completely different. The ending of the song was also taken and used for the ending of Van Halen's Hot For Teacher(1984).

The nepenthes aristolochoides is one of the weirdist carnivorous plants. It is a very rare type of pitcher plant the is around the NE Status. Unlike other pitcher plants it has the hole on the side of the plant, not the top. It only originates in a mountan range that has barily any of this plant on it. You would be lucky to oun one.
